shanghai is tight yo, and its the least chaotic city, the traffic is the most lawful, theft is low, alot of foreigner (wai di de he wai guo de dou shi) which means ppl keep their distance, and alot of new stuff

lol super feme voice is tighter, only cuz i m hunan tho

be nice to find the undiscovered, like… qing gong

I had a chance to go to ShangHai this summer, but my parents wouldn’t let me. T_T

How true is it that if you only speak Mandarin, you’ll get ripped off and such?

Dude you kidding me right? The traffic is the most lawful? I didnt see a single soul wearing a seatbelt and very often there wasnt even a seatbelt in the cabs! The drivers change lane without using any signal and they literally squeeze through the tiniest places in traffic.

Anyway, I landed at like 4pm yesterday (United direct flight from Chicago to Shanghai, only took like 14 hours O.o). Took the meglav train and went nowhere…started in Pudong and ended in Pudong. Food was good though however quite costly. Going to spend 2 days in Shanghai before I leave. Staying at the Jing An Hotel.

Talking about foreigners I was pretty surprised how many there were. On this street I saw this really blond woman in her twenties riding a bicycle… There were also a surprising amount of Indian people…saw at least 4.

nobody ever wears seat belts, and most places outside of shanghai and beijing driving on the wrong side of the road even if its double solid yellow lines is common, beijing isnt as good as shanghai cuz ppl never give right of way

trust me shanghai is chill

and u wont get ripped off just cuz u dont speak local, esp in pudong where no one speaks local

my flight was LA to shanghai took 12 hrs… i think its cuz aerobus r faster than boeing

maglev is all about the experience of 430 km/h yo, 8 min, how far can u walk in 8 min? o yea, our train passed the oncoming train, so it was like 860 relative speed and the trains pushed off each other and all the girls screamed… thing about maglev, even when its by itself, its not that stable, rocks like crazy… new stuff is like that i guess, but they need to work it out more, they need to make it at least as stable as wheeled trains b4 they expect to build more

indian ppl r everywhere in huge numbers… look at hongkong i was like, omg a whole building of them

traffic in China isn’t lawful in general. that’s why ppl holding driver’s licence in America dare not to drive in China (like me). Shanghai is a wonderful place, only the subway is aweful. If you don’t push other ppl out of your way you literally get squeezed out.

迷惘中…上海今夜将袁某遗忘…

It’s unfair!

The assosiation of prestigeous summer programme RSI acclaimed that only Shanghaiers can participate and any other permanent resident in china mainland are not eligible!!!

inconsistency, u are in shenzhen? what school do u go to?
im from shenzhen too~
