Sillymoms - I’m only seeing the materials that have been received as well. It says "Thank you for checking on the status of your application for the Acting program.

Your application is pending a review. Please review the Materials Received Check List to see if there are any materials that still need to be submitted. You will receive an email notification when an admissions decision has been made."

My daughter received a rejection from VCUArts today. No big deal, really, but a rejection still stings just a little. She had pretty much decided she didn’t like it from the minute she arrived, so this isn’t a surprise. Here’s hoping this will be the end of the rejections or at least one of the last!

I got my second artistic acceptance today from Point Park. It seems absolutely surreal that I have an actual DECISION to make. I’m terrified I’ll wake up from this dream any minute now.

^^Hahaha, so glad somebody else was still up to see my post! Thanks, ResrchMom! Still seems random and/or suspicious that it was updated literally at midnight, but we’ll take it!

He was in his room but still awake…I started shrieking and told him to go look at my computer…there was much whooping and hollering! And then I sat and cried for about 15 minutes. Now am sitting in my kitchen, watching the snow fall outside the window and wondering how I"ll ever sleep tonight! :)

Times3…Congratulations to your son!!! My son was just admitted to BFA Acting yesterday as well (status changed online from Applied for Musical Theatre BFA to Applied for Acting BFA). Called to find out that meant an acceptance. Maybe not the right thread but would love your input on the Acting BFA. His head has been MT all along, but he absolutely loved Ithaca and knows the training he gets there would be great. If you have any insight if you could PM me that would be so appreciated. He’s strongly considering this offer against a couple of MT offers.

actsandsings - don’t know if this will appease your S, but Ithaca has some amazing a ccapella groups (Ithacappella often comes to our high school to perform during their winter break tour) that he could get involved with if he misses singing in musicals.

Congrats to both Times3 and actsandsings kids - great news!!!
