The letters for the JMU School of Theatre and Dance should come pretty quickly after (if not at almost the same time as) the letters from admissions. The goal is for all to arrive before April 1 if possible :)

Milk, I think you should start a final decision thread. I had suggested this to someone else who asked about it, but never saw the thread. I loved reading this format from years past as it gave a lot of realistic background, I thought. But of course, you can start it anyway you’d like. Congrats! I soooo wish my son was done!

Then you can add a few sentences about how you (or your kid) reached a decision. I also liked it when they listed stats, type, what they think made them stand out…

Deciding to use this thread to say congrats to all of the great news that’s come in this week! What a time! And more is to come. Looking forward to seeing the Decisions thread fill up. It’s such a wonderful ending chapter to this exciting story.

To everyone on this board: I’m having such a hard time keeping up with the good (and bad) news as I’m getting a little busier now and I don’t read all the threads. But I just want to say congrats to everyone this week and the following weeks
sorry if I miss anything!
Thank you all for supporting me this last few months, I’m deeply grateful.

Bumping this thread as admissions news starts to roll in. I feel like hugging, high-fiving, and otherwise celebrating and commiserating with everyone who has been along for this ride! It’s gonna be an interesting few weeks. How about at midnight on May 1st, all of us stick our heads out of our windows and emit a simultaneous primal scream? :D

I am with you, Times3!!!

We’re still two years away from this, but I’m anxious for all of your kids. I just hope the classes of 2014 and 2015 are as exciting to read about as the class of 2013!

^^I keep thinking I’ll break my addiction to CC once this is all over, and then I realize that I have to keep up with everyone in the pipeline. Thanks to dcsparent and shacherry, both with sophomores, I have two more years of stories to go!

Sounds like a good plan Times3 !

I know, right? I would hate to leave them with the story just half told…feel the same way about them as well as threed!!!

Thanks Times and Photomom for planning on sticking around.

@Times3…Yeah, maybe after May 1st I can actually focus on my job while I’m at work instead of obsessively checking online all day!

Seriously, my students must think I’m insane…I’m on the laptop incessantly! Must…stop…clicking…

Me, too! The fourth graders have just gotten used to seeing some college site on my computer!
