If anyone is waiting Muhlenberg has updated the portal with decision letters. S was a yes, really made me feel how long this process has been it was the first audition the second week of September.

Same for us, huge scholarship yet still a crazy price tag. Thankfully that was a safety in case she didnât get into any BFA programs but like, if that had happened we would have been taking out some serious loans. I can not believe one year of undergrad at a college in the middle of nowhere can be $70K. I get why NYU is, but Allentown, PA?!
@tatteredandfriendly I went with my S to Five Towns College for Open House and we got there late, and ended up having an entire info session with the Head of the Program and the Technical Director to ourselves. I was a BA - Acting major in college (at SUNY - New Paltz) so I grilled them on everything from acting method to showcases, performance opportunities and exposure to the industry. He was very helpful and willing to talk to me at length about the program, and we left feeling really good about it. My S did not end up auditioning, because he didnât really feel the campus. He prefers more of an urban setting, and an easier way to get home on mass transit to NJ - but I think the program is really solid.
@Divamamacita Wow you have twins going through the MT Audition process! Your drama mama of all time. I canât imagine all this cray cray times two. Extra good vibes for yeses sending your way! Did Montclair send the Class of 2023 the consolation socks this year? Big running joke last year.

I would just like to remind all that the point of this thread on CC was to share information and be a supportive community which it has. I have to say I was a little taken aback by the Muhlenberg comment. My D also got in there and we were very happy about it. She has also gotten into some BFA programs. Until we make the final decision about where she is going, I would rather not read negative comments about any of these programs. Everyone here has been happy for the acceptances and supportive for the rejections. Muhlenberg is expensive, it is not a BFA, and geographically not for everyone. However, I know a lot of the other schools are expensive and in places that are not for everyone either! I congratulate all on their acceptances and wish the best for those that are still waiting.

@Brecktwins19 - everyone has a different perspective on schools, I donât think anything objectionable was said about Muhlenberg.

Has any S or Dâs still not heard anything from Elon? It is crickets for my D and she is starting to wonderâŠShould she just keep waiting as we know emails and phone calls have happenedâŠ
@Nkttsmom, has she checked the Elon portal too? You may want a few days but I, personally, would have no trouble calling them and asking. Though, itâs probably best to have her do it. Good luck!!!
