I know that acceptances for U Miami are rolling out slowly for some, but I am unsure if MT majors might be coming out later than others.

@kalsslp regarding UMiamiāwe checked my Dās portal (through CaneLink) and there is an admission decision. She was WL for BFA redirect to BA. There is also a financial aid letterāwith no award, so at a 50K tuition pricetag, and other good BFA options, itās not looking pretty! She didnāt receive an email at all to check the portal, so those waiting on Miami might want to check.

Anyone know if Americanās admit is for both academic and artistic? We havenāt received the snail mail letter yet, but my D got an email congratulating her on her acceptance and asking her to come to an admitted students day.

@katzenbogen if you log into Cane link and then go to the full site, then click on the student center button. At the top left there is āmessage centerā. The letter was in there. Then, if you scroll to the bottom of the student center page, it says āadmittedā with a green check. The letter is confusing because it says āCongratulations! We are delighted to offer you admission to the University of Miami.ā So, read on to see which program 
Bottom of first paragraph it said waitlist for BFA and the faculty would notify if spot became available.

My D was there on Monday (Missouri State) and was told they would be making final decisions in 2 to 3 weeks. She got an email after Chicago Unifieds stating that she was in the pool of students still being considered for the BFA program. Iām guessing theyāve made some offers, are still considering others.
Email no from Syracuse tonight. Not upset, wasnāt feeling like a good fit for us anyway.

ā¢ Missouri State - some have received offers, expect final decisions in 2-3 weeks. āMissouri Stateās website says one last audition date in LA in April. But wrapped up NYC Auditions last week. Faculty meeting this week to make decisions. May see some rolling decisions. Missouri State off Spring Break this week. But could hear April news as well.ā

ā¢ Jacksonville University sent email to check portal for a new update with admittance decision on March 17th.

@DramaLlama18 - USC acceptances are going out starting today as well. I am not sure if Drama folks are on a different schedule but academic admits are being sent out via āsnail mailā and I canāt imagine the BFA notifications are later than academic?

@CanaDad Syracuse - My D also got an email ānoā from Syracuse today. Her heart wasnāt broken - it was an odd audition experience at Chicago Unifieds.

D got accepted at Wagner but a no for theater performance. Sheās not disappointed because we have a great yes from
Webster. Biggest bummer is they offered her $100k scholarship. Ugh! Still waiting for western Michigan and NYU. Fun hearing all the updates. I assume next week will be a busy week for everyone with March coming to a close! ?
