Two years ago today my son received his Out of State Early Admission Decision, and three years ago this same week my daughter received that BIG envelope as well! I am hoping we will hear something this week for child #3!!! Good luck to everyone!
Son got his big YES envelope in the mail today, so that’s almost a week after the email notification/portal change. We also got a 'go ahead and pay your deposit ’ email this morning

same here! My daughters came today as well. Along with one from Texas A&M.
Fingers crossed that OOS announcements will come this afternoon.

Hoping y’all are right about OOS decisions happening maybe today! My daughter did get her acceptance to Auburn this morning so hopefully this one may follow. We already know she will be big fat DEFERRED til Spring at my Alma mater, UGA, LOL. Good luck to all <3
@GeorgiaDog92 What were your daughter’s stats? My daughter will be applying in Dec and since UofSC is her #1 we are thinking maybe she won’t try the reach of UGA. Loved the school though!!!

I think UGA cares more about grades. I think it is supposed to be 75% grades, 25% tests and everything else. My daughter’s grades are comparable to your daughter’s. ACT was a 31 (but that doesn’t count as much for UGA). My daughter started a Marine Bio club here. 4 year varsity swimmer/club swimmer. NHS, NEHS, SNHS, etc. Also, we are OOS. All of our kids seem to be achievers!! Wish they could all get into their choice schools.

Nothing on their twitter feed nor have I seen any commentary about OOS officially going out today - just people speculating (including me) on past patterns.

As for alma maters … my S has at best a 50/50 shot at UNC even in state and third generation legacy… Regardless they won’t release anything until the late January notice date for EA applicants so it’s going to be awhile…
They didn’t put anything on social media before last weeks small wave. So it seems they are doing things differently this year.
