Yes, USC will admit, defer or deny. My son was deferred from USC 2 years ago and was accepted during a later review with RD applicants.
My son is OOS and has not heard anything yet. Was hoping to hear before the Thanksgiving holiday.
OOS but realized just a few days ago that DS didn’t change his application from regular decision to EA. We were going back and forth about whether to do EA during the process. He applied second week of September. I guess we won’t be hearing anything in December after all. He applied to two rolling admission schools so he has received those acceptances.
I just called AO. They’re open a full day today, but the kid on the phone didn’t know when another release of admissions will happen. So, it’s possible they could do a release of EA decisions today. If not today, my guess is the next decisions will come on Friday, December 6th.
I think OOS will be the week of the 9th. Keep us posted if you hear anything. We are waiting as well. Wonder if they will email first or mail the big envelope if they are admitted?
While us OOS peasants are waiting, does anybody know how housing priority works with USC?

I guess we are all waiting until Dec 9? So many missed opportunities on discounted UofSC merchandise on Black Friday. UGH!
No updates? I’m guessing it will be next week – maybe Friday, 13th. I was hoping they’d keep releasing decisions.
It says on the UofSC website we will find out on or before the week of Friday the 13th, so yes hopefully the 13th if not earlier!

Nothing here, OOS NJ. I was hoping they might have a busy week of notifications after the holiday but I guess not.
They will never let us know. It won’t happen in my lifetime.
