class size?

approx. how large are classes?

tia

It depends on the class. Check out the Undergraduate Record. It lists all the courses and the amount of students in each course.

I checked out that site just now. And I went to see in the Scool of Engineering and applied science. Are those the only majors they provide which are mentioned there?

I wanted to go to Electrical Engineering. But it didnt provide anything on that site. It said Elelctrical and Computer Engineering, and not seperate Electrical Engineering. But if you go to the seas website, they say that they offer Electrical engineering. What does that mean?

ok, thank you globalist…

do you think you could look at my post about early decision? i want to know, since you are an alumni, if you think my chances are fine.

Amnesia, I think you should go for it. It doesn’t hurt applying ED. If you don’t get in ED, you still have a chance at getting in RD. Looking at your stats, I say you have a 55/45 chance at getting in. The fact that you are currently #1 in your class is great. Plus, it helps that you are also very active and take leadership positions in your ECs. Just make sure that you keep up your grades, write stellar essays, and possibly improve your SAT scores. Again, UVa looks at the entire applicant not just raw scores. That said, you should really make an argument in your essays (and recommendations) that you would make a great addition to the Class of '10.

Good luck!

Thanks!
regards to the SAT, this is my game plan:

i registered for the SAT is June. This comes a few weeks after school is out. By then, I am still in the school mode and plan to do a ton of SAT practice with their new SAT blue book. I really want a 2100+.

Thanks Globalist, it really looks like I am going to apply early decision.
