My son did the same thing! We were dying because we knew what it meant but we didn’t want to ruin the surprise!

Hi! I was waitlisted in state and have already emailed and spoken over the phone with my regional admissions rep. Does anyone know stats for in-state applicants who have been waitlisted?

FWIW, I think that poster was talking about finding their own housing, a long time ago.
Not what the school provided. Like - I wanted to live on the beach so badly, I was willing to do this less than ideal living situation.

Was all merit revealed in letters of acceptance? Any summer starts with merit?
Would like to know this too. We are summer Start and did not see anything.
there will not be any merit with summer start My kid was accepted in December and letter said merit offer will be coming in March. Her friend also was accepted in December and no merit is mentioned in her acceptance letter. We are in SC

Does anyone have any idea how many OOS applications Clemson gets? Do you think it’s half of the class?

It appears that the number of OOS applications more than doubled between 2020 and 2024.

If I remember right its about 51% admitted are in state. Land grant school.

My son’s acceptance letter mentioned a merit award.
I wanted to echo what a great program summer start is. It was hard for me letting go in summer, but it was amazing for my kid.

We are headed to an admitted student event for the college of engineering on Friday and I was wondering if anybody else has gone and if so, they would be willing to share what we can expect. This will be our first time on campus and is there a full tour that’s involved or is it just specific for the major? TIA.
My student was one of the waitlisted and told they’d find out in June but then received an email (yet to be opened), with a status update. Anyone else get a status update sooner then the stated June deadline? I’m wondering if good or bad news!?
Hi quick question…I went to sign the housing contract today for Summer Start and it said we couldn’t do it yet because the decision was still pending as to which Summer session my D25 would get. I just assumed it would be the regular Summer Start session from late June to early August. Do you remember having to select which session?
So what was it? Good or bad news?
Has anyone received a “Welcome to Clemson!” packet in the mail yet? Does the university send anything like that out to admitted students?
My son was accepted EA and got a packet with Clemson stickers, a bandana and a few other things. I think it came a few weeks after acceptance by portal.
