Iām doing the same with the buttons . Iāve thought of every scenario in the book ā¦ I wondered if the student got in , why would they give you a chance to change at the last minute as it would āmessā things up .

If you are accepted for fall you can āedit termā to go in the spring if you prefer. If you get in for summer you canāt edit term for fall. If you get in for fall you cannot edit term for summer. Thatās what the āedit termā means.

We are much lower GPA but I agree w you, in my thinking anyway, that we COULD be offered summer, as the term, hence the button still being thereā¦my dtr would go for the summer classes!

I also wondered if anyone knows if Summer the Bridge is offered now or is it only offered after a deferral for us EA folks? (I am hoping not a denyā¦)

I am of the same mindset. I am expecting a deferral which will prolong the agony. He already has some very good choices and will likely have others, but Clemson is definitely close to the top.

I am looking at it so many different ways. I cant make heads or tails of it. My daughters best friend works with me through the work based learning for school and Im dying for her to get to the office and check hers. Her stats are better than my daughters BUT she provided SAT scores that were mid range and she is applying with Marketing which is a harder major to get in with. So Im hoping they both get in since they are not going to be in the same major. But also its neat to see the outcome of both with both having different stats.

4.5/4.0 weighted, 1530 SAT, hardest classes possible with APs and Honors, rigorous course load at private school, Iām a volunteer EMT, I play the piano and sing at nursing homes over the holidays, elective research on rural healthcare, head of various clubs, varsity athletics, and more. Clemson is more of a safety/target for me. OOS. Donāt have the buttons on my page.

IMHO, and in my 30 minutes of knowledge on this topic, still having the Edit Term button means deferred or Summer startā¦which we indicated my dtr would do as this is a real reach.

Trying to look back at last years to see if this lines up with what those parents saw but seemed all over the place last year from what ive seen so far.

I would think soā¦ but I also have to think that if you get deferred you could also change the start just because you are saying you are open to other semesters if not selected for fall start? Again, just a guess. Could be very wrong.

Could it be that you can only edit the term if youāre accepted for Fall? Because you wouldnāt be allowed to edit if you were accepted for Summer or Springā¦

So letās ask reverse. Why would anyone not be able to edit the term??? If rejected?
