I don’t know if this correlates and I wish I’d been paying closer attention but my D applied pretty early on the process (9/21) with high stats. I think hers has said “awaiting decision” for quite some time now and the buttons have been gone for at least a week but maybe more like a few weeks. Just thought I’d add to the speculation.

Yes so I think we are all going to go with MVMs theory at this point. Seems to be the safest theory for us all. That being said to test the theory yall need to keep checking and let us know if it either reappears or it goes away as we get closer to 6pm Thursday.
Side note: I think ours actually went away before today. I checked it yesterday and I do not remember seeing it then either.

We are a military dependent as well so would be awesome if that helps! Good question.
Having an “alumni relation” is considered as part of the application process, per the Common Data Set. I don’t know if being a military dependent gives any special consideration – hope so, as that would help my kid too! They ask about it on the application but I don’t know how that factors in when decisions are made.

Last year most kids we know who were deferred (and wound up being accepted later) were offered summer start, bridge or had to pick a different major for Fall acceptance.
At what point do they offer summer or bridge? I feel like we should have checked summer start also now . We are OOS but would do it if that means admission .

Another theory to test out… when did your kid apply? Maybe those that applied earlier have decisions and thats why their buttons are missing? My kid submitted 8/26.
