Clemson University Early Action for Fall 2024 Admissions

My daughters friend applied 09/16 and hers is gone. So wondering if there is a cut off. So interested if anyone applied after 09/24 and their button is gone.

I applied 10/1 and have both buttons gone

Kid applied very early October, high stats oos. No buttons and doesn’t recall noticing them anytime recently, but that could be incorrect. Option to withdraw honors application remains.

It didn’t lol

I heard Clemson’s yield (applicants who actually enroll) was lower than planned last year and is lower than other regional state universities. They are going to target applicants that fit the profile of those that will more likely enroll. Meaning OOS apps outside the SE are likely going to be denied even with elite stats because they know those students are not coming.

In my son’s case they would be wrong. We are from the NE and if he gets in he is going.

OOS applied 10/12 and buttons have been gone for awhile.

Hope he gets in.

Could it be with certain majors they made the decisions sooner (less applicants) and that’s why buttons disappeared a few weeks ago? For more popular majors maybe they are still going through apps? Just a thought!

Absolutely the same here ! We in ? We going !!

I think it just means they are finished review and made a decision for that applicant. Could be accepted, deferred, or denied. In other words I wouldn’t try to read anything into the buttons getting removed.

I was just looking back at last years thread on March 1st when those that were deferred got there decisions. It was shocking to see the stats of kids that got waitlisted, basically denied…Such a crapshoot

Interesting, I have 3.94 but 1460 SAT and i’m going to get rejected or defferred.

not necessarily, do you say that because of the button? that doesnt necessarily mean anything. you could just as easily be accepted as i could be deferred or rejected. don’t beat yourself up over something that hasn’t even proven to be true yet!
