I’m proud of us for the button thing. Whoever started that is a genius. I hope Clemson doesn’t find out and change it. I have another applying next year. :joy:

Don’t lose hope, there will be a lot of movement in the acceptances.

Don’t stress but have them continue to take the SAT/ACT every point counts now for additional money. This is when a tutor pays off. Worse case its still a great time for your family.

Scholarship money is always offered in the acceptance letter.

It varies by year. Last year the max offered was $12,500/year.

Is it fair to say that the EA review was less holistic than the RD will be? It seems like there there is a very clear test score boundary for who got in or not at 34 act and about 1470 SAT.

Just to calm some nerves. I have a senior and a sophomore at Clemson. They didn’t have early action for either of mine. From what I have witnessed, it’s usually high stats kids and a lot of oos kids that get accepted early. Do not fret if you are deferred. You will most likely get accepted in some sort of way in regular decision. lSenior son was admitted straight in (2020-Covid year ). Sophomore son, with better grades and stats, accepted with summer start. Summer start was amazing. Bridge and summer start is not what it used to be. It is not for kids that need “extra help” . This is Clemson way of admitting as many papas possible and getting a little cash in the process. If you get offered summer or bridge, seriously consider it. My summer start kid will graduate a semester early, met an amazing group of friends and had the entire campus and downtown all to themselves for a whole summer! Bridge kids have the best accommodations and everyone hangs out there. Just posting because I don’t any kids to get discouraged if they get deferred. I don’t even know why they call it early action, but it is the Clemson way
