these are the WL numbers, not the deferred (EA to RD) numbers
Thanks, Do you mind sharing their GPAs? I did find on the Common Data Set that last year 55% of enrolled students submitted scores.
I know. She asked for waitlist figures and that what I found from common data.
sorry I missed that. although I thought the question was regarding how many get accepted after an EA deferral, rather than how many from the WL ultimately get an offer. I guess if ~11K get offered a waitlist, and ~20K get offered a spot at RD, then you can try to back into a success rate (at RD), but the number of rejections at RD is unknown. What is known is a 38% acceptance rate at RD
Yes, I know. My intent was to show the waitlist number because I have never seen the other number. I was surprised the WL was so high. 23,000 accepted and another half that waitlisted. I wasnât even considering waitlist but now maybe I should.
My son has a 4.0 uw, 4 yr varsity sport, leadership roles in and out of school (captain of varsity sport, 3 years on advisory board for national non-profit, president of school club, hundreds of volunteer hours, coaches at elementary school, NHS, 12 AP classes, 2 dual enrollment). Did a summer college program and a few other things.
Hi, how does the roommate situation work at Clemson? Assuming the person who applied first, gets the earlier pick but do they have Facebook pages to help match kids or does Clemson have its own forum/portal for that? Thank you.
If youâre referring to the process of finding a roommate, there are profiles on instagram and Facebook titled something along the lines of âClemson 2029 Biosâ where prospective students can search for roommates! I know this is the way most people find theirs if not opting to go random.
just to add, Clemson also has a matching profile as part of their housing sign up, and a student can connect with potential students that way as well. Yes, the overall selection date is determined by the roommate with the highest priority, as I recall.
Much appreciated.
Thank you!

EA app here, also OOS: waitlisted and frustrated.
applied to the honors school just as a back round. went TO but was 4.3 uwa gpa as she will likely walk in to most schools with 34 credits, lots of extras: clubs, cheer but /mostly community service some through the school more outside. strong essays.
direct admit to Kelley in IU with nice merit, Fisher in OSU with merit, Lerner in Delaware huge merit , PSU (did not apply to business as major), Leeds in Boulder with merit, U Tampa huge merit. Deferred from U of South Carolina and now waitlisted here ?? the whole process is a complete mind scramble. that said i believe we will be pulling our âwaitlistâ spot from this school
congratulations to all that recd great news tonight! and I do believe there is a place for everyone. they will succeed

EA deferred, accepted Bridge
Donât feel bad. Our son is very similar and had same outcome at the schools you list. Go to the school that wants you!! It will all work out.
Sorry above was for Luckat
Iâm sorry about that - Iâm sure it is frustrating. Go to Kelley. Great reputation and you will love it.
Of course we had a soccer game tonight. Accepted into bridge. 3.9uw test optional 30% class rank. What was a surprise was she got a letter from her #1 offering her $3000k more money which is now a full-ride. So it was still a great day. Good luck with everyoneâs final decision!
