Clemson University Early Action for Fall 2025 Admissions

Which school is that? And congrats!

Bridge, out of state, and we had to wait for him to get home from his three hour baseball practice!

I keep seeing a lot of summer acceptance and very few fall. Wasn’t really sure what summer accept was so googled it. Am I wrong in thinking this is a back door way to squeeze more tuition $$ out? Not sure i’m a fan of the trend.

Wondering that too!

Correct assumption. It’s insanely expensive.

My daughter OOS rejected. It was a really hard admit this year. Most high stat kids we know were accepted for either summer or bridge. We know one super high stat kid accepted for fall with scholarship but also in at UF and deferred from Duke so Clemson isn’t her top choice. Congrats to everyone accepted! I’m pretty sure I’m going to have a Penn Stater :blue_heart::white_heart::blue_heart::white_heart:

Deferred instate. Accepted summer start. 4.4 1270. Legacy.

DS was waitlisted, but Clemson is not top choice. I think his heart is set on PSU. Older sibling already there. He has some great options so this one did not sting!

My daughter is a sophomore at PSU and loves it! There are so many opportunities to take advantage of there!

Accepted summer start, OOS deferred from EA, business, TO, 3.8 UW, strong ECs, legacy

Was anyone OOS accepted for Fall start? I’m only seeing Waitlist, Bridge & SS on this page.

OOS daughter offered summer start. No thanks. She even declined this option on the common app I believe. IMO summer start is a money grab and insulting! Good luck to all who choose this path!

Daughter OOS deferred EA, but accepted now for fall with merit. Ended up with 2nd choice major - Undeclared PreProfessional Health Studies. Need to better understand that.

Clemson has a significantly lower Admission rate compared to VT- Clemson was 36%
for class of 2028 and VT was 50%. My daughter got into Clemson and VT last cycle. Currently a first year at Clemson. Looking at schools again, because my younger daughter will be applying next year. We live in Nevada, so we will be OOS again. Daughter wants to go to UGA or Clemson, but shes not on same academic level as my first child.

Does anyone know if Clemson has ever taken students off the waitlist before June. And if a student gets offered admission in June will they still be able to get housing?
