what is the link please? I don’t have it and want to check…thanks

Only one from rhode Island…and it’s not me…

well, it’s been great guys! best to all who succeeded…enjoy!

Are these finalized lists??? I didn’t get it if so

https://www.coca-colascholars.org/cokeWeb/servlet/SearchResultsController?actionPage=finalists

Neither did I. Congrats to everyone that made it =]

Oklahoma has four out of fifty.
Alaska has two out of six.
California has twenty-six out of 214.

Are these the final or are they still being updated?

I just think it would have been more fair if they emailed everyone together…letting some know by phone ahead of time, or by following on twitter, or getting letters first etc is just not how I would have expected Coca cola to handle things.

I would have expected them to be much more fair with everyone. Oh well, that’s why they are who they are and I won’t be going to college now. Maybe they will take some of our suggestions to heart for next years group of semifinalists and rethink their final strategy.

well, it was a long shot…congrats again to all who did move on!! You’ll do great!

Wow, not many people on here were chosen… I wish that could have turned out differently… I am signing off on this for the last time… Congrats to all, we are an amazing group of scholars, no matter what one scholarship says. I bid you all adieu.

thanks dumbo
When I checked the list before my name was not on it
I got the etter in the mail
Congrats everyone

^ You won’t be going to college now?! :(

dtaz is your name on the list now?

@jordan ashton… you wont be going to college?? there has to be more ways. i know my dream of attending usc and affording 55grand a year is a long shot, but you going to college shouldnt be! there are so many scholarships out there, please keep looking!

congrats to everyone out there who got the scholarship
good luck

Yes Now it is Good Luck

yeah tangeant, this scholarship was my only hope. My dad died last fall and my single mom lost her job…I have no way to afford college now…THis scholarship would have given me enough to make it possible , along with the college grants, but no I’m too ‘short’ of funds now to go. We can’t get private loans to make up the difference due to my needing a co-signer and my mom’s credit really bad after losing our home…kind of a combination of misfortunes this year…I’ll save for a few years and then apply to colleges again.

No ones fault ,it just wasn’t meant to be. Thanks though…signing off for good now…

take care all! It was fun getting to know all of you. You’re a great group of people and we will all go far someday!!

take care

Jashton, I’m so sorry to hear all that, my prayers will include you. keep strong

Glad to get to talk to all of you.
A disappointment but still an honor to make it this far.
Have fun in Atlanta!

I don’t see anything unfair here, guys.
What a HUGE undertaking.
Obviously there are people more deserving–movers and shakers–not people sitting here like me watching a computer screen.

I would have liked to see more opportunity to be clear on the application.

At least they carefully review the aps. I found out yesterday that a friend and I neither one had our aps reviewed for another scholarship because the place where we turned them in did nothing with them.

I have to believe that I WILL get to go to college though I might have to let go of where I want to go. I may end up somewhere that has offered me a full-ride but is a place I didn’t pursue. I’m looking at open doors and my mind has had to be more open in the process. Sadly, I am finding rejection from scholarships frustrating because so much time and effort goes into applying.

Good to know you too Jashton… Always keep up hope, and pursue your dreams… You have unbelievable talent, it’s too bad Coke couldn’t see that. To everyone else, I hope you all follow your dreams as well… Even if not chosen, we are the future. 1900 of us will go on without this money, and still change the world. And while the 250 may be the best in Coke’s eyes, we are all extraordinary. That’s just my two cents.

Didn’t get it in PA. Let’s all drink PepsiMax to the Max now.
