Might not have made a difference but what happened to having a running back try and dive over the pile rather than bunching the line up and trying qb sneak ? Not the best play calling Longhorns .

No one made mention of the LSU-Clemson game. My workmate, who atttended UDub, was so glowingly speaking about Clemson and them winning the Natty. And while they still could, LSU’s D stuffed them pretty good.
ND is not looking great right now.

FSU & the University of Miami both look great, but many commentators maintain that Penn State and Ohio State are the top contenders for the national title.
While Arch Manning of Texas is the top NIL earner, U Miami’s transfer from U Georgia, QB Carson Beck, is the #2 NIL earner.

Brutal game for the 
Supposedly lots of reasons. At the time his influencer gf was a guard at Miami. Well, she still is a guard at Miami, but they’ve broken up. Money. And I heard/read that he wanted a more souped-up offense, and Miami brought in a bunch of weapons through the transfer portal. I was really impressed with how well they played top to bottom. That first Miami TD catch may stay catch of the year.
ETA: I went down a rabbit hole on the ex-gf last night. I have lots of thoughts there but maybe not suitale for the college football thread!
Lots of good words about him from the announcers and his ex-coaches. He is apparently a really great kid(?) - they aren’t kids anymore I guess once you become millionaires 
. Hope it works out for him - my team certainly didn’t like facing him and I could NEVER root for those barking Bulldogs so here’s to a great Miami season!
Not quite the excitement of the huge other schools but my college freshman daughter was thrilled to see they won (on the road). Meanwhile her big brothers team lost (Cuse Orange)
He’s got a $4+ salary. He’ll be fine no matter what.

I don’t see anybody talking about Bill Belichick coming to UNC. I guess we’ll see what he can do with some college guys.

Yep, I’ve seen what he does with his college girl . Ooops, that was supposed to be funny, hope it came across that way and not creepy.
Well it’s a pretty creepy situation! I am a UNC fan, but I would have been happy to keep Mack Brown even if Belichick wins us more games. But all the $$$$ in the game now and we ended up with Bill. They are making college merch now that says “Chapel Bill”. Ugh.

He was raised on college football (father coach at Navy). I think he’ll do just fine.
His father also coached at UNC for a season or two – I think as an assistant. I’m not really sure because I am somewhat appalled by the circus and haven’t read up on it, just seen headlines and summaries. He just really does not seem like a UNC coach kinda guy, but we will see what happens this season. I’m really a basketball fan anyway. Football just tides me over until basketball season.
