We also noticed that currently on the College Search & Selection forum there is no way to access the threads in that forum internally. You can click the links to that forum, but it appears as only a container of sub-forums. Rest assured the content is still around, but can only be access directly via the URL (or through an outside link, such as a Google search result link). We’ve alerted the vendor to this issue as well as the breadcrumb menu issue that is causing certain links to no longer display.
It is quite aptly named if you think about it 
It basically shows you a trail of links that lead back to the home page, more or less.
