Columbia Sciences Po Fall 2019 Entry

Hi everyone,

Expect interview notifications to be sent no later than February 15th. You will be notified either way. Interviews will be held between February 18th and March 8th with a Columbia representative and an administrator from the SciencesPo campus to which you applied.

Hope that helps and please feel free to post more questions!

Hi everyone,

Congrats to those who received interview invitations! The admissions team is really looking forward to getting to know each of you.

Every interview runs differently, but one thing you can count on is that there will be both a Columbia and a SciencesPo representative. You can expect the style of the interview to be a mix of “traditional” American interview questions, meaning more personal questions about yourself and aspirations, and French interview questions, meaning more academic kinds of questions. I’d recommend re-familiarizing yourself with the details of your application, staying up to date with the news, and thinking about why both Columbia and SciencesPo–specifically your campus of choice–are the right fit for you.

The admissions representatives want to see you as you would be in a classroom or social setting at both universities, so let yourself relax a bit and enjoy the conversation!

Best of luck to you all!

I got an interview for Reims! Does doing it via Skype affect chances? And how many people got selected for interview this year versus how many get in? (I applied for Euro-America program)

Hi does anyone know if they ask major-specific questions in the interview??

@exper5 I’m pretty sure they’ll ask you questions specifically on what’s happening in the regions you’ve applied for.
When i emailed they told me that we’ll discuss what’s been happening in the news in Africa (I applied for Euro-Africa)
