i honestly don’t get the point of CU on the hill because either the website is malfunctioning for me only or i cant view any of my notifications and all i’m really doing at this point is friending people lol
i’d join a facebook group but the official one is public /:
@chootimes yeah I’d honestly prefer a private fb group too
Hi guys! any of you already received your financial aid decisions?
@MULIOKELA111 I got mine the day after decisions came out
@Tryharding Yikes! i hope my late submission didnt hurt my decision
@MULIOKELA111 I had to resubmit my fin aid results because they gave us insane numbers that don’t match our income at all…I called them and they said it was fine, so you should be fine too, you’ll just have to wait a little later until you get your fin aid results…
@TiggyB62 thank you so much!
@northshoremass12 I ordered mine before I ordered other merch from the Cornell store, but I got the merch before my free shirt… maybe they send them all out at once?
@ other admits: CUonthehill doesn’t really have much activity yet… I guess it’s on us to network lol
@ArthurDent42 well thats a relief, thanks
anyone who was asked to submit additional financial documents just before results came out - how long did you have to wait for your finaid decision?
@hwj123 I was asked the same thing and while i was checking my FA aid to do list yesterday it said " No current to do Items" for the first time since Monday.
I got the email saying “missing information” after I got my acceptance, but when I went to the “To Do” list, it just listed the 2 things due November 1st and said they were “Initiated”. Does this mean I don’t have to do anything else?
@NewBigRed i think they will contact you if they need anything else
For those of you who prefer a private fb group, message me your fb address so I can add you to the group!
I’m about to create one.
Keep inboxing me guys!
@NewBigRed Get those things that say “Initiated” done immediately. IMMEDIATELY!! You will not get a preliminary financial aid package without those things completed, and if you attending Cornell is based on how much financial aid you’ll get, not having financial aid numbers to consider will be a problem.
Have most of you already received your financial aid package? I am getting a little worried considering it is Christmas this week. I need to know before Christmas (I need adequate financial aid in order to attend Cornell) I submitted all materials a month ago…before I had even been admitted. Any ideas as to when I will recieve it? Thanks!
@cornellian7 so you submitted in mid to late November? That’s a few weeks past their deadline so it probably will be late in getting to you. If you had all your stuff in by Nov 1, then you would have your FA package within a week of acceptance. That’s why they give a Nov 1 date: to get you your info in enough time.
@ArthurDent42 okay, thanks! I just submitted them
I thought I’d already done that way before I’d even submitted my Cornell app but I guess not…
How do I submit my deposit lol
I think you can check this link out. This is what we used last year.
