Just submitted my app! ESS major CALS! These 41+ days are going to kill me…
Also did EA to Tulane, Villanova, UMich, UVA and Bing

@Gatortristan I took October 24th ACT too. On my resume i made a note that i prepared for months and hoped they would be able to consider it in my application
I am 99% sure that we are going to get immediately deferred though, they probably won’t get our scores in time.

WTF THEY TOLD ME AT AN INFO SESSION THEY WOULD GET OCT SCORES!!! RIP if they don’t get those scores i’m screwed. my only other score is a 28. @applicantcor I was expecting a 30/31 on this act
@applicantcor You will get another chance to submit any missing parts of the full application mid november, according to your Cornell ApplicationID Account (which I’m assuming you haven’t gotten yet). They’re not going to defer you over a late ACT score, and I doubt the ACT company will take another 15 days to grade your ACT tests. I’ve said this before through this thread.
@Gatortristan what sucks for me is the 1st time that i have taken the ACT ever. I am expecting a 34+ but if i blew it im completely screwed.
@ArthurDent42 no i haven’t got that yet. By the way, my parents haven’t completed financial aid yet… They are under the impression they can submit it tomorrow. Are they wrong?
@ArthurDent42 I think he was talking about UVa not cornell that time. Cornell WILL receive October scores and won’t look at your application until it’s complete

@Gatortristan Actually i didn’t know that Cornell! I honestly don’t care if im deferred from UVA, Cornell is the dream y’all!! Super glad they won’t consider my app until it’s complete

@applicantcor Again, I pretty sure that they’re lenient on the whole “Nov 1st is the deadline” thing. As long as the common app or the universal app is submitted before Nov 1st (along with the writing supplement, teacher recs, etc), you should be fine submitting everything else a little later (that includes css/fin aid info).
@ArthurDent42 Where do you put the note saying your submitting things later? additional info section?
@Gatortristan Put it on the common app if you haven’t submitted it already, otherwise email them with a list of things you’ll be missing on Nov 1st. Again, they are lenient about submitting stuff besides the common app and writing supplement before Nov 1st. When you get your AppID and Password for the Cornell website, you will see the info I’ve been talking about all this time, in which they mention how you will get another chance to submit everything you’re missing mid-Nov, assuming you don’t submit everything within the next few days.
Guys, this is killing me. I wish I could just know already so I can stop wondering if I’m good enough.
