Just to help stay positive, there were thousands of waitlists and out of the about 30 of us on this thread, two people (I think) have already gotten off the waitlist.

Do all people who are taken off waitlist get the email tho? Maybe not all people get the email at all

I called CoE today and asked about when waitlist decisions would release or at least when the prompt would release, and they said they havenât gone to waitlist yet and likely wonât until next week (hence why they havenât sent the essay prompt yet).

My son just got the âcontinued interestâ email at about 12:20 p.m. He replied and is waiting for further instruction. I am cautious optimistic for him!

if there was a second batch today, wouldnt they have sent it by now?
Maybe there is no second batch at all, nobody knows
but wouldnât they send an email saying youâre rejected? that they filled up all the spaces?
I canât lie we are all coping lmao. Iâve been invested in this thread for like a month checking it constantly but people have already started getting CAS acceptances. Realistically almost none of us are getting off, we shud get used to the disappointment. There will be more batches for sure, we just most likely wonât be in them. Most of the people Iâve seen who got off waitlists like Cornell had a lot of different top waitlists, and Cornell happened to be the one they got lucky at.
