Okay just called them. They mostly said things we already know, that the waitlist is active and some offers have been made already, but theyāre simply gonna see how the ādust settlesā with the candidates whoāve already been offered a spot from the waitlist. They also said to me that at this stage while nothing can be said, theyāre looking to extend offers through the end of May as well (kinda like CAS). Also chatted about TOās, but nothing yāall donāt already know.

do you know if theyāre doing it by major? or anything about the general yield rate this year? that way we can figure out the number of waitlisted applicants that could get accepted

Emailed today and they said it will take a few weeks for them to decide if they will go to the waitlist for coe.

maybe. coe is historically the last to give wl offers out of any college at cornell.

It makes me feel like they donāt have many spots left. And Iād hate to think that. But if they are gonna extend offers through May and towards the end, that might mean that they still have a good amount of space left in the CALS class.

Yeah Iād be really happy, but Iād prefer if I got accepted (iām sure everyone would love to be accepted rather than a TO). But I will happily take a TO honestly cuz its a second chance and it still means CALS wants me.

Yes, they said there would be an update by the end of this week but didnāt say what kind of update it would be.
For those who came off the waitlist 2 weeks ago, did it really take until Thursday to update portal to show admission?
I believe the housing application is due tomorrowā¦ wondering if S24 will have enough time to accept, get netid and apply for housing before the due date.
It appeared that they extended the commitment deadline for at least some of the RD admits. We hope good news will come out today so we donāt have to lose the deposit to another college.
I got the letter of admission last Thursday, commited Saturday, expect to get NetID today and do housing today, putting me right at the deadline. I donāt think itās a hard deadline but more one that is priority or whatever
