Hi, new here. I applied to CAS for Physics and got the email today at 3pm CT. Is this a good thing? Does that guarantee I get in?

I got a “confirm continued interest” email for CAS today at 2pm.

No I don’t know anyone else personally. Only other person applied to CALS and got off in the first wave for waitlist but I know that’s a whole different thing

I am also surprised and hopeless not to see any international students got off waitlist for CAS. (There may be some, but I don’t know them)

I’m wondering if I should send an email to admissions of an update of recent activities now? Would you guys recommend this? And how should I format such update email (short/concise or like a LOCI). I submitted a loci already, but it was sent in early April.

Are you aware of any admissions officer emails that I could send this to? Because on cornell’s website they only provide the general admissions office email

 I did already submit one before, so I mentioned on the letter that it would be my second update. Hopefully they won’t be annoyed with too much stuff to look at.

I mean, personally I submitted my 2nd loci on the 22nd and got an email yesterday. Not sure if I was going to get an email anyways or if it was because of the loci. But it doesn’t hurt to submit as long as you actually have updates.

I have no idea what to do since I am in CALS. I submitted my LOCI at the end of March, 3 days after the waitlist offer. Does anyone know if there is anymore waitlist activity or if they are going to start giving out TO offers?
