That’s exactly the question I have asked in my response and awaiting there reply. Will post.
I just got this response from COE
Thanks for your email. We still are not sure if there will be offers of admission from the waitlist. As soon as we have any information, we will get that out to the students so they can move forward with their plans. If we do decide to move to the waitlist, applicants will then receive an email with a prompt to answer. If we do not move to the waitlist, all students remaining on the waitlist will be sent final decisions.
I wish I had more of an update for you; we understand this is a long process and really appreciate your patience.
You guys think it is still a good idea to submit a loci? I mean I have already written a bunch of things and the admissions told me not to do so anymore, but I have really no idea about what to do. CAS here
Thanks for reaching out. I believe the response from the Midwest Prospects email was referring to other units across the university—some colleges have been able to offer waitlist spots (each college at Cornell has its own admissions office). But we still are not sure if there will be offers of admission from the Engineering waitlist. As soon as we have any information, we will get that out to the students so they can move forward with their plans. If we do decide to move to the waitlist, applicants will then receive an email with a prompt to answer. If we do not move to the waitlist, all students remaining on the waitlist will be sent final decisions.

No CAs wave today?
COE TO realistic?
they dont do TO
You know if cas does?
CAS don’t do TO
How yk
Yes they do.
Any evidence? CALS have a specific webpage that discusses the TO
So does CAS:
Thanks, I overlooked that.
Surprised to see that both the CALS TO & CAS TO are not guaranteed—instead one has to go through some application even one fulfills all academic requirements.
Are there cases where a academically qualified TO applicant was turned down?
I don’t know.
nah, typically you just need to meet a GPA requirement and take like 2 required courses to transfer. It’s basically guaranteed tho thats the thing. the gpa requirement depends on the major but its typically 3.0
COE has its own dropdown on this website. So TO exists?..
I’m assuming they do TO but they might not offer it as often to applicants. Don’t take my word on this though.
have anyone received anything from aap?
heck no, just emailed and they said to check back every friday morning
