<p>Hi I am a current student at HKU, under the Faculty of Social Sciences. It depends upon the programme which you wish to choose. Medium of instruction in HKU is English except for Medicine and Dentistry. I didn’t even have a second language as such in my high school public examination but still I got into HKU therefore you need not worry about the second language requirement!</p>
