If you’re one of the URMs being subjected to these people, go to a more diverse school or get some confidence. This whole subject is getting old.</p>

<p>akhman24, I am surprised to learn that you understood that I meant to say that people’s being upset about URM’s stealing their spots resulted in my being subjected to racial prejudice. Most likely some people are racists, I am subjected to racial prejudice as a result of their racism, they get upset when a URM steals their spot at their favorite university, and when they learn I am a college student feel resentment towards me.</p>

<p>OP looking at your previous threads, you appear to have a mental issue, I am being honest here. I am going to guess depression or anxiety, but I am not a doctor and neither is anyone here. I also am not your friend and neither is anyone here. Do you know who you go to talk with about feeling insecure? Your FRIENDS and your DOCTOR. When you bring it up to other people they have every right to tell you to F**k off because they have no reason to listen. And have you thought that maybe just maybe you are exaggerating things. Just because 3 people commented on your URM status at college does not mean that everyone thinks a URM stole their spot. I know that didn’t happen at my school which is pretty much all white and whatever, diversity comes in all forms. Just because your skin is tan, blue purple whatever does not mean you are special at all or diverse. I would venture to say that kids who’s parents died in war or are fallen firefighters are URMs but they dont complain because they have a little more dignity than that. </p>
<p>I do not know you or what you contribute to your school nor do I care. I dont care that you are a URM or that I am white. Go find some medical help or some friends to talk with about this, not some 16-22 year olds who do not know you.</p>

<p>URMs–and anyone else, for that matter–can’t steal a person’s “spot” in a college class, mostly because you don’t/won’t have a “spot” in the class unless/until the college offers you admission.</p>
