Charles doesn’t seem desperate for Mary’s hand. He helped her disentangle herself from Tony, gave her that kiss in the theater lobby, then casually said goodbye, he’s leaving for 6 months. Mary needs the thrill of the chase, and with Charles not panting after her, she may become more intrigued by him. But who was that guy we saw her with in the preview? Yes, the Merton snob would love to land Mary, with her title and land (thanks to little George), but she would never want him. Plus, I think he is an alcoholic.
Isn’t there one bright, creative, nobleman in England for Mary? Just let her have a happy match, and then see what happens.

Our TV listings show it running for two hours, but the episode information in Wikipedia shows it’s a 93-minute show; starts at 8PM (central time zone).
Usually in NYC, they fill up the last half hour with fundraising for our local PBS station.

I thoroughly enjoyed the DA costume exhibit at Winterthur! There was also a tent show there by the jewelry designer who makes and sells DA-inspired pieces. We missed that, unfortunately, but there were some nice earrings in the gift shop, as well as a few period clothing items.
Wonder how many CCers were at Winterthur and we all missed each other!
