@mom60 - I have not ordered from Tuckernuck yet, but also get served a lot of ads from them. What type of summer dresses are you looking for?

I have the Quince knockoff of the Somerset dress and I don’t love the feel of the fabric.
Edit- I love linen and look best in a sheath or shift cut. I’m fine with several inches above the knee.

I have dresses and tops from Tuckernuck. Very good quality and easy returns.
I have a few Somerset dresses both short and long. My favorite is a blue in a silky material that I bought 3 or 4 years ago. Not sure they still offer it in this fabric. The other long one I have is cotton and while it is cute and comfortable I think it is a lot of fabric.

@mom60 - I have that dress in a pattern from last year and I love it.
I’ve been asked if I would take pics of those jeans with different tops, to see what they look like on a real person. Again, I have a mommy tummy and these are stretch denim and have no hold. But….i had just eaten a big banana, toast with cream cheese and an ensure. So it would have looked better beforehand. I’m 5’8, and I have on 3 inch heels if you’re wondering how far they would come down on you. I’d say 5’6” with heels would still work well.

My absolute favorite is the second look (off the shoulder)! IMO, the jeans themselves are the star of the ensemble, so a simple top like that works great because it doesn’t overshadow the lace. That’s why I think my Doen top would work well, too.
I’m 5’ 6” on a well rested morning. The pants (size 27) come full length on me with flat shoes. IMO, it is worth trying them on, just buy from an easy to return store like Nordstrom’s.

Agree about the simplicity and letting the pants be the star. Nordstrom online is out of stick now except a 31 or 32. You’d have to order from the brand online. Higgurl, you could always reach out to them and ask the inseam for your size.

I also like the jeans with the second top. Do they fit true to size? I normally wear a 29 in jean sizes.
Yes, they are a perfect size 29/8. That’s what I wear. They also sell black ones but those fit one size small. You would need a 30.

I like that the blue of #1 is so complementary to the jeans. I like all the tops.
I think I’ve given up my quest for black dress pants for now.
I bought a pair from athleta that I like and the Eileen Fischer pants but they are both really casual, basically fancy yoga pants. Now that’s its trending towards spring and summer, I’ll revisit this fall.

IMO, they run just a tiny bit large.
Get out! What’s wrong with those gals? Maybe they thought they were cropped and would be full length on them. The stock photos are definitely misleading. I just knew they were full length from seeing them in the store.
