Looks great @deb922. You should definitely keep it!
The tag on the blouse and the packaging are mislabeled. I’m going back and forth on whether to keep it. You also getting the wrong one verify my thought that even if I reorder they will still send this same one.
Overall I like it and I’m trying to get beyond just a t shirts with jeans. Not as cute as the Doen shirt but half the cost.
It would be nice with a denim or green skirt, short or long.
So cute!
More jeans I purchased. I wanted to make sure I liked them before I posted. The ads popped up on FB about a month ago. I like the blue Pearl ones the best as you can see the pearls. But I bought the white ones, they are very pretty. I already own too many blue denim jeans.
I got them for $109, so keep a look out for sales. High waisted, stretchy and looks just like the stock model. They are long, I have to wear heels.
I give you a lot of credit for wearing such stylish jeans. I will buy jeans with rips or with a raw hem but that’s about it.
I had no problem with heels when I was younger but now I can’t wear them with any comfort.
I love learning about all the different brands. I’ve bought many an item after first hearing about it on this thread. It’s one of my favorites.
Can you not wear block heels, or any height of heel?
I can wear a block heel or heeled sandal if I need to. My life is very casual these days and I rarely go anywhere where I would wear heels. Everyday life in my area is pretty casual.
Thanks, I took the tags off and washed the shirt. I think it will be a nicer top for the spring and summer.
I think the jeans pictured are a little too small so I’m going to return them. They fit but in the picture I think they pull at the waist. I really liked the wash.
I wish I knew how to buy jeans so they fit just right. The jeans on the picture, are they going to stretch? Stretch enough to be comfortable or will be still too tight in the waist, which is a little squishy these days. I bought a pair of good American jeans that are perfect out of the washer but stretch out and are baggy after wearing. I’m constantly pulling them up. So annoying. It’s such a crapshoot and the jeans are too expensive for a maybe
I grabbed a pair of jeans last weekend, not thinking why I didn’t wear them the last time they fit. Skinny jeans, but I could roll the hems. When I put them on in the hotel room, I remembered.
The curse of short legs and manufacturer’s fading. When I pulled the legs down more, the knee fading hit lower shin. Not the best look.
I love seeing the styles everyone here gets to wear, and wish sometimes that I could too.
The Citizens jeans I bought recently done stretch out.
That’s what rash guards are for! I put that on in a bubbling hot tub.
A couple of things re jeans that are too long or too baggy after wearing. There is a very easy method for shortening jeans while keeping the original hem. It’s invisible and easy peasy. See Youtube for videos. For jeans that stretch too much in the waist, there is a low profile belt. See Amazon. I have tried both of these and they work. Of course the hemming method would be more difficult on pearl decorated denim.
I too have trouble with jeans. If I but them so they fit when I first wear them, almost always they are hanging an hour after I put them on. I realize I’ve had a habit of buying/wearing clothes that are really too big. I’m trying to adjust with new purchases, but it’s hard.
I’ve had my eye on these since the I started seeing the ad. Your review may have convinced me to give them a try!
I also took the tags off and washed. The other print was more in my usual comfort zone but I do like this one. I think I’ll take it to Italy in May. I also ended up keeping the dress I ordered. The blue was brighter than I expected but I think I’ll wear it a lot in the spring and summer. I’m noticing more dresses in crisper cotton with a lot of fabric in the lower part of the dress. I’m usually drawn to a shift, straight dress with no defined waist but I’m not seeing a lot. I hate that I no longer have a great selection of stores to shop at in person.
I know it will likely be controversial but what tennis shoes are you wearing with dresses? Often I wear a sandal but for travel with a lot of walking I want a sneaker. Last spring in Spain all types of sneakers were being worn with dresses.
I purchased some Vionic white leather tennis shoes thinking I’d wear them with dresses last year, but so far I’ve only worn them a time or two, and with jeans. I am still hopeful :).
I really liked that dress. I like what other people get from Anthro, but I’ve not been very successful there myself. (I admit I coveted a $75 pickleball tee shirt from them, but was too cheap to pay that for a white tee with a cute pic on it).
I wear sneakers with casual dresses/sundresses. More comfortable to me than sandals ( my feet are narrow and it’s tricky to get sandals that fit).
