Since we discussed comfy for walking shoes above. Just wanted to show how Allbirds can be doctored with Superfeet.
Superfeet are amazing, especially with shoes that are less focused on comfort. I have these in my running shoes – and my wellies!
When my Saucony running shoes are getting older, I pull out the footbed and replace with Superfeet insert. Not cheap ($55?), but it’s a nice way to stretch the shoe life.
My husband uses Superfeet in his tennis shoes and also in his snowboarding boots. They are great insoles. I’ve used them in the past but I don’t use them in my Allbirds since I wear them without socks so I like the wool insole. I do have another style of Allbirds that have more of a sole and more arch support.
Just wanted to say a few words about a new to me e-commerce store: Glamuse. I was looking for a new swimsuit, and this store popped up in my search. Never bought anything from them before, so was not sure what the experience would be. My purchase qualified for free shipping, and the package was delivered from Europe by DHL in just 3 days! Happy owner of a new Prima Donna swim separates. No idea how painless returns or exchanges would be because I know my sizes very well. Then I saw that they had the sports bras that were sold out in my sizes elsewhere, so a second package arrived shortly.
Highly recommend!
Wasn’t quite sure where to put this and not all the items are “dressing young “ wearable products but since we talked about Quince here recently I’ll drop it here.
I’ve been happy with all Quince products I’ve purchased so far. I’m def not a high end shopper but do like to “dress young” and am perfectly happy in this lane.
Thanks! Interesting, detailed article on a large variety of Quince products (including suitcase and linens).
It was nice to learn that they have a sustainability focus. That big chunk sweater pictured is not for me, but I did take a look at their recommended better choice cashmere crewneck-neck (on sale for $50) -Mongolian Cashmere Crewneck Sweater in Heather Grey
I’ve liked everything I’ve ordered from Quince so far. I have several sweaters and some bedding. Decent quality for the price point - especially the bedding. I hate paying $300++ for king size bedding. I’m not overly picky but I do want it to look chic.
I went back and forth on pulling the trigger on their luggage but ultimately went with another brand.
I have that sweater in several colors and have been happy. Not wanting to pay $$$ for cashmere.
I didn’t realize they had luggage until this article. Doesn’t sound bad but sure there may be better (more $$) choices out there.
They have all kinds of home goods now and I want to say that they are even dabbling in some furniture, but don’t quote me on that.
So how is the sizing with Quince? I am interested in the crewneck of v-neck $50 sweater but some say to size up for layering. I would put a wool tank and a think polyester dress shirt under it.
I would say it’s mostly true to size but if you are going to double layer under that particular sweater (especially with a dress shirt), you may want to size up. I think they also make a relaxed version of that cashmere sweater.
Quince makes returns very easy. I often order two sizes from them and then return the one that doesn’t fit. I think their sweaters are very true to size but sometimes i want something to fit a little smaller or bigger than I would normally wear.
I got a six pack of organic undies and an organic cotton tank very affordably from Quince! Much cheaper than the Pact items I was eyeing. And they seem to hold up well. True to size, also.
This doesn’t seem worthy of it’s own thread and the last bathing suit thread was closed…
Where would you look online for a bathing suit cover up that is more practical than beautiful. LOL. I’m looking for something - maybe made of terry cloth like a beach towel, or something else somewhat absorbent- for when I either walk out to the pool or get out of the pool and want to walk around the yard.
Moderate price - under $50, prefer to look online. I’m picturing something without sleeve or short sleeves, maybe a zip up but I’m open to others. Above knee length.
This is for my own yard. I like to go out in my suit, skim the pool if needed, check my gardens etc. and while we have some privacy there are neighbors who could see me walking around - I’m not looking for viewers!
I guess I should check like Lands End or something like that. Again, not interested in spending a lot and don’t want to traipse around town looking. Online would be helpful. If I like the idea and convenience I’ll consider a 2nd one and be more open to price.

Thanks! Good footprint of what I’d like but I think it’s quite thin and I’m not digging the print - great price though!
Just added another - from Kohl’s, which made me laugh
I think a zipper bath robe in waffle or terry would work great as a swimsuit cover!
I love the colors of this one!
