Omg those are so cute! Love these two. I may have to cut the sleeves though. I cannot do a “long” short sleeve. If this was sleeveless I’d be ordering right now! lol
Edit, I think these may be duplicates
If you are really not concerned too much about looks, you might consider a hand-me-down Tshirt from somebody bigger than you. (My husband is big and a foot taller than me, so I’d have that option.)
Those are all very cute options.
Thank you for the suggestions and leads above! I will look at them more closely tomorrow!
I do want an “actual” not an oversized shirt - I will save that for pjs .
I have a Lands End swim coverup much like this style, from a few years ago https://www.landsend.com/products/womens-cotton-jersey-notch-neck-dress/id_389986?attributes=43395,44256,44967,50636,55616
The material on mine was a bit thin. I wear it at resorts over swimsuit, dries fairly quickly. But I felt it did seem nice enough to have second purpose as a casual dress (which would have been nice, for night #1 of trip)
Nice one!
Yes, that dress/coverup looks like something that can be pretty versatile and used for other functions than just as a coverup.
The good news with that Lands End style is that it comes in different size ranges (Regular, Petite, Tall, Plus). The bad news is that many of the sizes/colors seem sold out.
I have invested in multiple swim cover ups, but over time I’ve found board shorts paired with my tankini top is what works for me.
I tend to get too warm with something else over my top. (I realize where you live that may not be a problem). I have purchased and never worn - a linen long shirt, another long shirt in a more “performance” fabric, and an LL bean terry suit cover up with a hoodie (long sleeved), plus a sleeveless cotton cover up I had to put over my head - the over head one I actually did wear at some points.
I also am one to throw a skort or shorts on at the beach or something. But for this specific purpose - climbing out of the pool (dripping wet) and then walking around the yard, bending over and grabbing a few weeds, watering plants, - all the things - I think it’s worth investing in one Terry cloth one that can also be a bit absorbent and probably sleeveless so it covers the girls when bending over and the upper legs which I’m more sensitive about!
Here’s a couple more ideas. With pockets!
Here is a shorter sleeve version of the Amazon one I posted earlier!

I ordered the yellow 3/4 sleeve Amazon robe. Gotta support the alternative space exploration missions. Will post my review tomorrow when it arrives.
I’m generally not a fan of Amazon off-brand stuff, but had decent luck with a couple of things I bought for myself. A breezy dress to wear in the yard and a top. Like that stretchy fabric! Here is the top:
When I clicked on yours earlier it DID take me to the short sleeve one, lol.
A couple I showed you via links are sleeveless or short sleeved.
Yes I have the sleeveless one saved! Thank you!
I remembered today I have a thin “cover up” - it’s a Patagonia thin dress that is sleeveless and has a a back pocket etc. I bought it for a trip in 2015 to South of France! Still fits and o used today but doesn’t fit exactly what I’m looking for but I may on occasion use it as well
Well, if you are thinking of getting wet in the pool and then want something to put on for some time in the yard, the terry ones may be a good choice as it is not about fashion so much.
Exactly!!!
