I find that sleeveless tops with some structure, especially black look nice with my flowy linen pants. They kind of balance the silhouette.
Agree with BImom23…something tighter on top, I often wear plain tees. Not oversized or long tees, more just covering the waist of the pants by an inch or so.
I bought 2 sweaters from Quince and am happ with both. I am trying to buy some jeans but the ones I want keep selling out.
@Mwfan1921 -have you tried the tees from Mott and Bow? I like the fitted Marcy tees ( they are available in both crewneck and V neck).
With flowy pants, in my opinion, one needs to either go full Billie Eilish or wear a solid color fitted top.
Thanks for the suggestion! I haven’t tried that brand yet, but they are on my list to try. One of my friends likes them a lot, and she is also picky
I usually wear a fitted, ribbed high neck tank with my linen pants. If it is chilly I like to put a open stitch loose sweater over it. I feel like being able to see my silhouette in the dark tank through the sweater mitigates some of the figure-hiding “loose on loose” effect.

That’s a really cute sweater. I also like to wear a more fitted tee or tank when wearing the linen pants. I have a few pair from Athleta but thinking of trying the Quince- very good price point.
Always looking for great Tshirts , have had good luck with Madewell.
I like that sweater, plus a good price.
Thanks for the Quince feedback. I think I’ve mostly been interested in the cashmere and other sweaters, the work-type pants and maybe jeans. Good to hear some thoughts.
I bought a cashmere sweater after seeing my sister’s at Thanksgiving. I like it a lot.
got this blazer for me and love it
got one for my daughter and it didn’t look good on her at all - so I ended up with 2 (different colors)
I have that blazer in 2 colors and I love it.
Cute sweater. Normally I don’t like that kind of dropped shoulder seam, but I bet it could work with petite sizes.
I have two Quince cashmere sweaters, one short sleeve and one long and I love them both. I also have a jacket I love. I bought the Ponte pants but they did not fit and I never figured out the correct size.
I would not hesitate to buy more from them!
Quince also has a one year return policy - which is exceptional!
Ummm. I don’t get out and about that much. LOL. I’m still trying to get used to the flared pants, wondering if I should. I’m an old lady.
Being a petite person I don’t like wide leg pants at all. I also don’t like the new fad of having 3 to 4 inches of the ham turned up things like that make a vertically challenge person look even smaller.
Same! I would love links to tees that others are loving!
I have the T from Quince and agree that the fabric is thin and the sizing runs small. I kept it and use it to layer.
Add me to those who love a white t shirt. My present go to is from Target but while it’s inexpensive it isn’t going to last long. In just a few months they are already looking worn.
