Oh yes, Madewell. Just an FYI, Nordstrom sells Madewell clothing and accessories. Returns are easy!

I haven’t shopped at Kohl’s in years, but they seem to have a fair number of black/silver, and they are always having sales. If you have a store near you for easy returns that’s an option.

I’ve had luck with some from Nordstrom Rack, I try to buy the brands I’ve heard of and buy a few to keep the favorite and return the others.

I don’t remember if I posted this dress or not, I know I did the teal one. I’m looking for a wedding guest dress and also was hoping to wear it at a company Christmas party.
This dress came in yesterday and is gorgeous IRL. The gold in the jacquard is amazing and this is the winner. It’s an Adrianna Papell. It hits me lower on the leg than the stock photo, (I like that), closer to the ankle.
So now I need footwear. Should I keep it simple like the nude ankle strap sandals, or should I get gold?
My earrings are big. They are the ones Kate Middleton wore. I’ll try to find a pic.

I think these gold slingbacks would look great with the outfit. They are blingy but still not overwhelmingly so. I’d say just the right amount of bling!

I’ve been going back and forth about the teal dress. I just love the color and skirt portion. The only place I have to wear it is the spring wedding. The 8 is a bit loose in the waist, but not bad. The 6 fit there great but too tight in the bodice, it squished my armpit fat out.
It was $200. Not sure what I’ll do.

I love the dress and the earrings. I’d go with a simpler shoe.
