I recently went through this exercise at a place known for being a bit upscale and ontrend. They said colors, including ones that were two colors (maybe tortoise with blue arms) were popular. For shapes, stick to what works for you.
Wow! Awesome deal. Although $75 would not go very far. I mostly buy their Align leggings, Swiftly tees, and shorts. My recent purchase was waterproof booties! Tested them out today after our big storm… my feet were dry and cozy despite having to walk through some shallow puddles in the rain.

I like our local Warby Parker store for glasses. They have current looks for a decent price. I mostly wear contacts as well so don’t want to spend a fortune but also want something that looks current and stylish. Often they offer a pretty good discount when buying 2 or more pairs.
I just ordered my husband a pair of the ABC pants. They are very nice and he wears his clothes forever.
They weren’t $75. For that, you would probably be able to buy a tee shirt.
I need to look into that as I recently upgraded my AMEX. $75 might not but a spindle item I want but it’s a nice credit!
When we were in Europe earlier this month we noticed big glasses are definitely “in” and they seemed to be round or close to round. ETA based on another comment above - tortoise shell or tortoise shell mixed with another color were what I noticed most.
That said, my ophthalmologist reminded me the “reader” part of multi-focal glasses is only on the bottom, and smaller glasses actually work better for that.
The things I recommend from Lulu Lemon -
Swiftly Tech or Swiftly Relaxed shirts
Fast and Free leggings, and I THINK the other ones are Wunder Train

These two items are staples for me. Fits right, comfy and flattering.
ABC pants are my husband‘s favorite. They are expensive, but they last a long time.
My husband loves Lulu’s dress shirts. Tech 4-way stretch, no wrinkles!
Thanks for the glasses tips! I keep mine for a long time so am trying to get a little ahead of trends… I saw Oprah in round, wireframe glasses so think that might be the next thing- but my Rx is so strong can’t usually swing wireframes. Tx again for the thoughts!
I saw more clear, acrylic frames this last go-round as well - a good alternative for a thicker lens. While I rarely wear my glasses for more than 2-3 years, I wear them every waking moment, so am wary of anything that has so much attitude that it can’t play nice with everything. For me, something that is classic with a twist is better than something really notably different.
Thanks for all the Lulu tips - going to check them out. I know my husband loves his ABC pants, but I’ve never gotten anything from there myself. 75$ is not great but it’s another perk of this card that I’d like to try and use ![]()
I think someone here mentioned the day drift line for travel pants. They look great.
I have a pair of groove flare pants that I really like and wear often. I love their dance studio pants as a tried and true. I wear their golf shirts but that’s out of season for me.
I’m not a great fan of their scuba jackets. I find them heavy and stiff. I think others like them a lot.
I’m sure you will find a lot of great options!
I forgot! I love a lulu vest! So much! The down for it vest is my very favorite.
I love the Hold Tight shirts (misleading name - they are not tight. Very soft material that does not have a “dry fit” material feel). I have multiple colors in the long and short sleeve. I also love the Groove pants/leggings with the slight flare leg. They come in the short length, which falls perfectly on me.
Timely! I’m going for an exam on Saturday and unless the place wows me with something in their showroom, I intend to order the Sonia frame from Warby Parker.
I wear glasses full time and I hate buying new frames. For years my friend had an optometrist practice with her husband. She was great at finding what worked. They sold the practice when he was ill and since I’ve tried a few spots but it’s not the same as personalized service.
I’m struggling with finding the right shoe to wear with this pair of jeans. I’m not going to wear a pump. For everyday wear I usually wear some form of a sneaker. Suggestions welcomed. Needs to be flat and have a wide toe box. Something I can also walk for blocks in.
I have a pair of wide leg cropped jeans and wore a pair of Chelsea boots with them. I got compliments, said that’s the way you wear those jeans.
I also would wear them with a low profile sneaker. I think no show socks would work, also go for it with socks that are higher. Mine are an inch above my ankle bone so not much leg shows.
What about Mary Jane ballet flats? Or loafers?
I personally think a lot of shoes work with.
A pairs of sneakerinas or low profile speakers?
IMO, this look calls out for a mary-jane flat. I’ve had my eye on these: https://www.macys.com/shop/product/franco-sarto-womens-oakes-square-toe-ballerina-flats?ID=22629623&pla_country=US&CAGPSPN=pla&trackingid=&m_sc=sem&m_sb=Google&m_tp=PLA&m_ac=Google_Womens_Shoes_PLA&m_ag=&m_cn=GGL_Women’s_Shoes_PMax_PLA&m_pi=go_cmp-20829431173_adg-_ad-__dev-c_ext-_prd-199037149315USA&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=20819204613&gbraid=0AAAAABdhj59KewGva7wL5lGyCuDwMaaAw&gclid=Cj0KCQjwsPzHBhDCARIsALlWNG37n34edR95y6uAJj04R5X7u4hte1FLDSezfg2yja924WmUdg_XYi0aAti8EALw_wcB
