So I thought I would like one of those matching lounge outfits that you see everywhere. I bought a matching set that’s very nice in a pretty green color. Will be nice to wear traveling
This is what I think I look like every time I wear it ![]()
Go birds!

Someone I follow “of our age” loves this travel outfit. I admit it looked cute. I’d get the cardigan on the bigger size so I could wrap it around me on the plane.
I’ll be in Paris in ~2 hours (on the train ATM), so I’ll be on the lookout for scrunched jeans with boots.
So far, my shopping has been limited to wine, chartreuse, olive oil, and skin care products.
I think it’s one of those trends that isn’t for me
I just can’t get the 1980’s track suit out of my mind
How long will you be in Paris?
Until Thursday.
I’m with you on that. The first thought that comes to mind for me, though, is Paulie on the Sopranos!
Try to get into Le Grande Colbert for dinner. It’s fabulous. It’s the restaurant from Something’s Gotta Give where Diane Keaton meets Jack Nicholson.
chez Janou is Le Marais is bustling and very good. Have you have the chocolate mousse
I think it was Bunsenburner suggested, about putting tissue or something in pointed toe shoes. Well, in orders a pair of gold pumps in my normal size 10W. They definitely were the a size 9.5. Of course, good luck finding anything in a 10.5. I ordered a 11. Too long, but the width was so comfortable. I stuffed the tie with tissue and it was perfect. Foot pushed to the heel.
While I haven’t bought that particular outfit, I do have other casual t-shirts and dresses from Pact that I’ve liked. Great price point as well.
I can’t get into the matched lounge outfits either. I definitely feel like I would be projecting the Jason Kelce vibe ![]()
Saw this in the window of my local Loft store yesterday!
I’m wearing it next weekend! Can’t wait!
I’m starting to think about holiday dressing. Dh and I usually only attend a couple of holiday gatherings. One will be his work party - usually just a dinner out. Last year it was at Ruth’s Chris. We may host a party for ds and some of his high school friends and their parents (who are our friends!). May just have to be for the adult kids - our space is limited! Our church does a big holiday bake sale, and I do like to dress up on Christmas Eve. With those things in mind, I ordered a couple of items from Avara today. Thinking the green sequin jacket for the work party/dinner and the candy cane sweater for either the, “kids,” party or the holiday bake sale.
This will sound weird. Martha Raddatz was the host on one of the Sunday shows today.
She had on a green velvet blazer with a high neck cream satin shell. It was so striking! Loved the combo and fabrics.
I love the green sequin jacket. In all honesty, I wouldn’t pay that amount for the candy cane one. I bet you could find something much cheaper on Amazon or Shein. Avara has a darling red short sleeve jacket with metallic thread for Xmas that popped up on my FB page. You might want to check it out. Red is your color!
This was the one I wanted, but my size is sold out!!!
Well shoot!
Very cute items but I’d have nowhere to wear them.
I can related to not liking low rise jeans. I laughed at this (and just about any video done by Holderness couple)
That’s so funny and cute!
FWIW tho, still like my low(ish) rise jeans (held on to the ones from the early 2000s). Have a short torso so it somehow sorta works.
