You guys are really nice, but it’s a terrible photo. Like I’m embarrassed. My face looks warped from the angle of the phone and I would say I wouldn’t even put those photos on FB. Oh well.

Thanks for chiming in on the coated jeans. I found a pair on amazon that will get her in time. I will return the pair I got yesterday. Already returned the faux leather, they weren’t right.
Jeans are so difficult. I wore a pair yesterday, they were a smidge too tight in the waist. I took them off because it’s not comfortable. Made me decide that the coated jeans I have aren’t going to work.

My leather punch is from a tack shop. It was made to punch through stirrup leathers, so adding a hole to a belt is a piece of cake. Here’s one from a very reliable place.

Thank you so much! I hope not too many people offer than regulars saw it. That sort me the creeps. I got my answer on the belt. I orders a table hole puncher from Amazon that gets here tomorrow. I have several others I’d like to use it on,too. Thanks the recommendation Bunsenburner.

I recommend practicing on something you don’t need like an old belt or shoe or something leather to get a hang of the process.

Good idea. Do you have the handheld or table? I thought the table would be more sturdy and I can use my weight like a regular paper home punch. How long did it take you to get the hang of it?
There is a local leather crafter in our city we have purchased from. I think we’d likely go to him if we need holes. He makes lovely leather belts, wallets, purses & more.
I had a similar one as the punch posted above. Need to dig it up to see what the make is. It was quite easy for me. But obviously it can vary.

Conmama, was it a photo of the fringed skirt? I didn’t see it before it was deleted and I was hoping you would share it!
The one I bought was only $25. Hope it isn’t subpar.

Thanks it’s actually a bit cheaper feeling than I thought. The fabric needs to be thicker or have a lining. I tried wearing a ruched bodysuit , but you could see the ruching underneath the skirt because it hits lower on the waist not the natural Waist.
