Kudos to Frank and Eileen’s customer service for letting me return this travesty of an outfit!
One time only. I’m happy I emailed them.
I don’t usually complain but then I really try not to buy final sale either.

Wow! Kudos to them and to you for following up. Hope you get a refund quickly.
It sure does look cute and comfy. I wonder if the final sale version somehow was irregular?? Wonderful they are going to make it right with you.
It definitely looks cozy but the company calling it a “travel set” is a misrepresentation lol. It is a lounge at home by the fireplace set.
So glad they’re letting you get a refund for returning something unwearable! So glad you reached out to them. Changing your mind is one thing but unwearable is something else entirely!
I have yet to see a so-called “travel set” that doesn’t look oversized and sloppy (not my vibe when I’m traveling). What’s good for the 23 y.o. influencers doesn’t necessarily translate to 55+ y.o.
I feel the same way about the UGG classic style boots. I want so much to like them, but I know they will just look like potatoes on MY feet (disclaimer - I’m sure they look cute on other people’s feet. My feet are a size 10 so I have to know my limitations).

I own classic Uggs, but I only wear them at home -like extra warm slippers.
I have a pair of Ugg minis, wore them this morning.
Since the temperature yesterday morning was -10, warming up to 18 this morning, I’m happy to have potatoes on my feet! ![]()
Plus I don’t have to tie them.
Those are the ones I am trying to talk myself into. Love the idea of just being able to slip them on!
We bought comfy warm bedroom slippers to use in BIL’s house when we visit because his floors are much colder than we are used to. I don’t like having cold feet either.
After consulting with my Gen Z’er, I decided to give these clogs a try in the light gray/taupe. They are on sale, and I have quite a bit of Nordstrom Notes to use from another promotion. Since I live in the South and am pretty much only going in and out of places during my day, I don’t need a boot per se. These have a faux sherpa lining so my feet will be warm for that. We’ll see if they are less clunky (potato-y) looking than an UGG. Returns are easy at Nordstrom so if I don’t love them, they can go back.

I know we have mentioned Quince often on this thread and I don’t intend to make it a Quince thread (!), but wanted to mention some unexpected good customer service I received.
I order 3 items shortly after Thanksgiving. A pair of flared leggings, a pair of gold earrings and some Turkish towels. The first two items came in normal delivery time. The towels were communicated to be coming but not shipped yet. (They are not a gift).
Today I got an email saying the towels have shipped but Quince recognizes I will get them later than the expected delivery date. As a courtesy, they offered up $20 credit good for a month on another purchase.
I appreciated this! To be honest I have a few Christmas gifts pending to be received and I’m worried about getting them even though I ordered Thanksgiving weekend. Not much communication about these delays and certainly no compensation being offered - except Quince!
I ended up ordering a cashmere sweater from Quince (told H it can be his gift for me). The sweater was gorgeous, but short! Ended up returning it (prepaid return label, drop off at post office) and Quince sent out a replacement - one size larger. It feels like this one is a better fit.
oh… short, I may like that
Glad you had good experience with Quince.
For our anniversary, my husband gave me a lovely necklace … delicate good chain with a pendant of pearl with a bit of gold around it. Any suggestions for a good style/color sweater to wear with it?
I’m assuming the “good chain” means “gold chain”???
Seems that just about any color would go with it, no? Like literally anything except an ivory or similar where the pearl just blends in?? Style wise would depend on the length of the chain.
Ha, yes - gold chain. Length is short enough to work with some V-necks, but I’m thinking it could maybe look nice against a round neck sweater. I don’t wear a lot of jewelry (even though I actually have a lot from my mother and husband’s aunt), but this was a very sweet surprise gift so I want to have a few ways to wear it.
I have 2 pairs of their flared leggings (not sure if they are the exact same as yours) that I am very happy with! No pilling like Lululemon. I’ve also been happy with everything I’ve ordered - I just ordered another cashmere sweater.
I hope they stick around - they are apparently being sued by several companies for copying designs (I mean they directly compare their stuff to the $$$ brands right on the description pages) and for (allegedly) not using certified organic suppliers for the stuff they list as “organic”. Neither of those things tip the scales for me. I don’t buy exclusively from Quince but when I need something specific (for instance, bedding and towels for a guest room) and I don’t want to pay a ton, It’s a good option.
Depending on what colors you like and look good on you, I like pearls with pastel colors like lilac and pink. Does the pearl have any color tones you can pick up on?
Pearls go with everything (in my opinion), can look great on a contrasting bright color (red, navy, black, etc.)
I agree a necklace like this will go with almost every color and almost everything unless a collar gets in the way
