Only 5 hours left, I donāt know about you all but my stomachs in knots. Hope for the best for all of you in here. Getting rejected doesnāt mean you werenāt good enough, just too many talented applicants to accept all of them!

This release is fairly useless. Obviously, the number of early admits is going to remain more or less the same from year to year. The real question is how many applied. My guess is that itās fewer than last year, otherwise Duke would be touting how the number was the most ever.

My DS was rejected from Duke today.
He has a 35 ACT and a 4.0 - along with a 2 page resume.
Heās a 3-sport varsity athlete, National Merit Commended scholar, in the top 10% of his class, and he has taken 8 AP classes (got a 4 or a 5 on all the tests). He is involved in everything - and head of several organizations at school (NHS, etc).
So what gives?? I have an idea, but itās not āPCā to put it out thereā¦
