In State received email at 3:10
oos no email received
In State email at 3:08
OOS, no email.
Could the reason for some receiving emails this afternoon and others not be related to whether or not the applicant was Deferred from ED? Just a thought.
OOS email received at 2:09 CST (3:09 EST)
OOS and received the email at 3:11 EST. Applied EA. I donāt think itās a hint at all just a reminder that is insignificant.
Iāve seen way too many paranoid response on other collegeās site to know that it likely means absolutely nothing. And to try and read into it will just drive you crazy. Youāll know on Saturday for sure, so until then, I wouldnāt read into anything.
Going back Last year on Friday Feb 22, 2019 at 5:18pm my son received the email from Virginia Tech that decision was posted. However, the actual site updated at 4:38pm.
Very true. I assume you are referencing the pandemonium surrounding the Clemson hack we discussed.

Yahā¦thatās one example, for sure.
OOS - no email, not in Junk. Applied in August EA.
Oh, I wasnāt worried that it had some great meaning other than perhaps that my daughter had typed her email address incorrectly. Thanks all for responding. Weāll see!

Completely agree, I just meant maybe those who were deferred ED hadnāt been added to the EA auto email notification.
I just donāt believe they would send an e-mail only to those who were accepted. We did receive the email though .
EA decision was always stated to be by 2/22. Perhaps the email was sent to those who applied EA as a reminder. Daughter did apply EA and received the email yesterday.
@jgwolf @psu95 - I completely agree with you. Perhaps those did not receive email notice are ED applicants who were deferred to EA.
Can everyone who did not receive the email confirm that ^^^^ (I thought that email means anything)
No. My daughter did not apply ED. She applied EA and did not receive an email yesterday. I checked her application to be sure the email address was correct and also verified that it did not go into Spam or Junk folders. Itās just strange to me that the email didnāt go to all.
Iām genuinely terrified. My OOS friend got his email and I didnātāhis stats are much better⦠I hope I am accepted. This is my #1 school.
