Easier now

It’s so much easier now that I’ve seen my son do two “happy dances” around the house. (M’burg and Blair). I was able to tell him about the phone call from NMH (accepted w/o FA = can’t go).

He can go to school tomorrow knowing that he has a way out and isn’t afraid to check other school’s decisions because he has two in hand.

Unbelievable. I am SOOOO relieved.

Congratulations

Many congratulations!! That trip “south” paid off for you once again – in a better night’s sleep!

i mean c’mon NMH do you have ANY FA!?!?!?

Congrats neatoburrito! I am very happy for you and you son!

Congratulations to your son, neato! How do like “walking on air” now?

Congratulations. Great way to start 3/10!!!

congrats Neato! Both are very beautiful, amazing schools! here’s to keeping the momentum going…sooo exciting!

update:

Out at SPS

I KNEW M’burg would be a yes! Congrats!

Congrats on all three!!! Was Exeter your son’s top choice?

Congratulations Neato!! Wonderful news for your family!!

Congrats to you and your family. I am happy to see that it worked out for you, and wish you the best in everything. Enjoy your celebration.

Congratulations Neatoburrito! It’s been a long road for your family. I’m so happy for you!

congrats! we only applied to sps, andover, groton. havent heard from any of them yet! how did you hear from sps? logged on to their website or via email? thx.

SPS is on their website. You would log on in the upper right hand corner using the ID and password they sent you in the mail.

Congratulations, neato! Exeter’s FA info may come in later. Do Mberg and Blair offer enough FA?

Congratulations, neato!

just got waitlisted at SPS? what’re the chances? is that just nicer way to reject?

hijkim: it’s always hard to know the chances; it depends upon the yield. Last year, many good schools had a higher yield than usual, and admitted few from the wait list. They have to get a long enough list that in years when there is a low yield they can still fill the class.

I ended up attending MIT from its wait list, many moons ago, and others have ended up admitted to BS’s from the waitlist.
