@concerto–the page won’t load for me (It says my session has expired or something along those lines)…but I was reading through some older threads and apparently being able to log onto the portal is not indicative of one’s acceptance (or rejection).

Ok, the same happens when I do it, but that’s good to know.

@concerto95 I am able to log onto housing and apply for housing, as is my friend not on CC that has a GT, but as others have said this isn’t always indicative of acceptance. Some people in the past who have been able to log onto housing have later been denied.

check ya emails kiddies… just got the official nod from AEM

Nothing from ILR yet

Congrats @mlw209!

I got email from CALS accepted !!!

Got my official decision letter, I am in!
I have a feeling all GTs who have everything in will be hearing shortly :)

Follow up: Went to pay my deposit and it says it is due January 14th, 2014. This date has obviously passed and I am assuming was for the Spring 2014 students. Do you think this is just an oversight on Cornell’s part?

Accepted to CALS! I still can’t believe it!

Same Get Pumped!

My name was missing, so I added myself to the list again.

Officially heard back today from CALS and I’m in! Also received access to the housing website.

Heard from CALS as well, I’m in! Congrats to everyone accepted.

I also found out i got into McIntire . Does anyone have any knowledge why I should choose one over the other? Im super stoked for Cornell but my parents are telling me to consider the McIntire as well. Im from Virginia so UVA would be really cheap…how should i go about convincing my parents to let me go?

Got accepted in CALS!!! So excited!!!

Heard nothing from CALS. Then again, my current school refused to let me take some of the required courses due to ap credit that they wouldn’t forfeit from me. So I’m not expecting to get in.

I got in today!!! I am so so so excited and relieved. Good luck to everyone!

@ard1995 I don’t think that puts you out of the running completely. Your application will go into the regular admission pool because you did not meet the requirements of your GT because of the lack of the required courses, but I think you have a great chance since you have the GT and I am assuming achieved the GPA that the GT told you to. Don’t give up hope!

Thanks Shap. Yeah I have a 3.825 at my current school and took most of the other GT courses. I also wrote a letter explaining my situation, so I hope they’ll understand.
