Fall 2020 Transfer

I emailed one of the admissions officers to ask about midterm reports and she told me decisions should be out Mid-May.

Also, I was wondering will a low GPA but a good transcript affect my chances? I’ve only made A’s and B’s in the college, never made a C in my life (that includes high school) but my GPA still isn’t as high as people with similar grades due to the timing of which I earned them.

@CM7850 They said mid may?? So decisions aren’t coming out by May 1st, as stated on their website? This wait is killing me…ugh

I still don’t see anything under financial aid. @nining

@bizdock if you log on to your uva sis and on your dashboard click financials in the middle, (to the right of academics and general)

Thanks @nining. Does that match with (on the left) Financials - finance center - view financial aid?

@CM7850 Mid May? That can’t be right can it?

@BrandonChub2 let’s hope not lol, waiting until may 1st already feels like it’s taking forever

I called earlier and they confirmed that May 1st is the release date

was seriously hoping for April 24th

We hit 10k views! I can see that the wait is getting to us all

im both exhausted and just ready for this to be done

Are the results for fall semester coming out on Firdays? Cause my result from Spring semester comes out on Nov.21st, which is Thursday

I hope we get the results early

Hopefully we get them early, but I’m not going to count on it since it seems like colleges like to wait until the last minute with these things:(

i want them to release early too lol. im getting waaaay too nervous. there aren’t enough oos seas applicants on these threads so i cant gauge how i should be feeling lol.

Feel the same way about in-state, non-VCCS McIntire applicants haha @transferringlion

McIntire is just tough in general. I’m mostly worried bc my university doesn’t have a Systems Engineering major. I’ve taken Information Science and Mechanical Engineering pre-reqs and I hope they’ll be like “yeah this is good enough lol.”

Does anyone have “inquiry access denied” and didn’t apply for financial aid?

I don’t and I know that in the past, all of the accepted people who are paying in full didn’t get it either.

In addition, I personally am LGBT, but I am kind of confused why they asked? Does anyone know why they ask this?

@valovers I don’t have it, also didn’t apply for aid. I saw only one person on last years thread who got the message but didn’t apply for aid.

@transferringlion I am not LGBT and was never asked this. When/where did they ask you that? Seems kind of random haha
