Transfer Audit received. In Howdy portal, on Applicant Tab, then under Manage Applications.
Great news!! Our portal now says Application Complete In Review. But she still has red x beside her Blinn transcript because she is enrolled but has no grade. The red x is in the after being admitted category. So there is nothing she needs to do or follow up on with AO because of the red x correct?
Thatâs how I interpret it - send them the Final Transcript after this spring semester grades are in, so in mid May. That should be the only lingering X on AIS.
This is correct. She called AO and they confirmed that is what it means and her application is in review and nothing else is needed at this time. How long did it take for your application to show transfer audit date from Application complete in Review?
Application Officially Complete and In Review on 1/30/24.
Transfer Audit posted in Howdy on 2/6/24.
(Apply Texas app submitted on 1/1/24. All transcripts (including Dual Credit done in HS) were sent in December 2023, but sent another JUCO transcript in January because AO lost the first one or mishandled it.)
My daughterâs dual credit transcript has been revived and has a green check. Now just waiting on her out of state junior college transcript to be reviewed.
We received our transfer audit this morning - woohoo!! But my daughter is currently in the process of completing classes to meet the minimum 24 hour requirement (has 18 from fall semester and no DC). There is a statement that says â24 hours required to be reviewedââŠdoes this just mean they wonât make a decision on acceptance until those credits are received or are they lining her up for rejection since she doesnât have the minimum hours when she applied to transfer?
I have always said you need 24 completed graded credits to be reviewed But a couple of years ago they started holding apps and deferring for spring grades if youâre close to meeting minimum requirements at time of application.
So it could truly go either way⊠denial or deferral. Most who get deferred are accepted after spring unless they tank their classes.
How long after the green checks did you see your transfer audit? And where did you see it?
It was exactly 2 weeks from green check marks to transfer audit posted. It was in her howdy portal under manage applications. There she could download/view the transfer audit.
From what weâve seen with our older friends who transferred in and various posts and comments on Reddit, yes, Admissions wants the spring transcript showing 24 (or more) hours completed. They will defer for now then ultimately accept in May or June. Try not to worry, just tell her to make As this spring!! ![]()
Thank you!
Transfer audit posted yesterday! How long does it typically take to receive a decision if you have met the requirements for transfer?
Applied Jan 1, audit received Feb 1, accepted Feb 15 so about 2 weeks for my daughter. Saw the tabs change early on the 14th but AIS changed mid day on the 15th.
What major?
Meeting requirements doesnât guarantee admission. Just fyi but hopefully youâll hear soon.
What was your transfer audit gpa, major and number of credits?
Communications major, 48 transferable hours, 3.94 gpa on audit.
My daughter said hers posted today. She has a 4.0 and is now waiting on the admission decision. Hope it comes quickly.
how many hours and what major?
47 hours, plant and soil science/soil and crop science major. GPA is only 2.77 so thatâs where things may not go well. We will wait and see! Had difficulty with all online courses during Covid shutdown in high school but have done better in my courses in college.
