Congrats to all who got accepted today!

Daughter was admitted to COLA! We’re elated and relieved. Her school doesn’t rank. Private girls school. 3.4 GPA 29 ACT stellar resume filled with a commitment to her passions and great essays and recs. We are fully aware that it could’ve gone either way. We are celebrating here. Very best to everyone who is still waiting. Good luck!

As someone stated above, the my status changes well in advance of email.

My daughter got wait listed this evening, hadn’t heard of that option. She can also choose PACE or CAP. From what I understand she could possibly get another college (she had applied for McCombs & Moody Adv).

Accepted Entry level Biology, CNS !

4.2 W GPA
3.7 UW GPA

SAT 1580
ACT 22

OOS

great EC’s, superb essays, national championship winner.

Son got rejected from CS. In-state, ACT 33, but not ranked in top 10%, closer to 20%. Unweighted GPA 3.9, weighted 4.7. He should have taken more courses that do not count towards the GPA - sports, arts or things like that. Got hit because took several non-AP languages instead, which bring the GPA and ranking down. Based on data from the school district website, in some of the high schools around here he could have made it to the top 10% or 7%. This school just happened to be like this.

OOS rejected 2000 SAT and 4.18 GPA. Kind of surprised… damn. Hoping March will be a better month

Here’s a tough one to figure out regarding my daughter…
Auto admit but Rejected for McCombs and Natural Sciences
Class rank #15 or 2.5%
2000 SAT
High athletic recruit with athletic scholarship

Waitlisted when I expected to be denied!

30 ACT
3.67 Weighted GPA
Over 200 hrs of volunteer work
Many extracurriculars & clubs
Some leadership positions
Varsity XC 4 years
Excellent essays
Not sure about recs

My son was accepted to Econ today . 33 ACT, GPA not that high- maybe 3.45 ish unweighted. excellent resume , reccomendations and essays waiting to hear plan II and LAH still. did anyone hear about LAH or Plan II online today?

@runnersg So the athletic scholarship was for UT? I’m confused, they recruited her but she can’t get into her majors with high SAT and rank? What major in CNS? That’s insane.

Accepted into my first choice, electrical engineering!! My stats are:

Homeschooled, so no school rank
4.0 UW GPA through college classes and virtual school classes
32 ACT
2100 SAT I believe but dont remember offhand, anywhere from 2000-2100
Took a bunch of college classes
Do a lot of EC that I’m really passionate about
My essays were good, especially as I’m passionate about learning, and usually a good writer
I didnt submit any letters of rec

I got capd, but i got accepted into Bauer College of business at university of houston, should i cap or go to u of h?

@tx6542 When you say rejected. … was he rejected outright or was he offered CAP or PACE program?

So I was the very first one to post my decision on the Facebook page, I got mine at like 5:03? Accepted as a nutrition major in CNS. I’m homeschooled, in-state, 4.0, 31ACT, 300+ volunteer hours and decent ECs.

@bengor10152 . Waitlist is good i would say considering 19000 offers were made and only 7-8000 end up accepting. I would think That means there is room for you. Of course it depends on the space available in the major you want.

my Daughter was accepted into Moody (communications studies). really excited! she comes from non ranking school with a 3.92 gpa. had 29 on ACT. Hook em!
