<p>Thanks, busdriver and BB. DH’s war veterans group does this every year. We finished the party and are now handing out 250 large filled holiday bags to the residents who are unable to leave their floors. As for the wine , the bigger problem might be to be careful to select an appropriate bottle, and not a $$$$$$ one. </p>

<p>My neighbor just got a beautiful platter from slateplate.com. (We’re picking up her stuff while she’s away, and the box had a picture of a platter with cheese on it, so I googled the company just to make sure it didn’t have food inside that needed to go into our fridge.)</p>
<p>And speaking of which, we just got a Harry & David gift with absolutely meh pears. So disappointing; usually they are scrumptious.</p>

<p>Well miracle of miracles!! Got a text that the pkg was delivered at noon. I ran home (left my lunch in the microwave), grabbed the 2 gifts out of the box (which was a little smooshed in a corner, but not bad) and ran back. Didn’t even look at the other 2 items in the box! And the office staff LOVED them!</p>

<p>My Saks crap was delivered yesterday. That was so quick! And DHL brought the box with the flats that I ordered on Friday - free shipping, from the UK! Yikes. </p>
