I vote for the blue. I love coral…for clothing…but I would not want it on my front door surrounded by green plants…just doesn’t sound like it would go together to me!
I think the blue would appeal to the widest range of buyers —I’d choose blue. If it was your personal residence you can be bolder but for some unknown person I’d go with a color most folks like, blue.
Love the blue!
I too like the coral. Very much. I think it’s more MCM than the blue.
Team coral
I was thinking the coral might be too much for a double door but after playing around in Photoshop it looks decent. If you think the Ash Blue is too bright, the next shade darker is Galapagos Turquoise: https://www.benjaminmoore.com/en-us/color-overview/find-your-color/color-a-room/1706/front-door-9?color=2057-20&source=%2Fen-us%2Fcolor-overview%2Ffind-your-color%2Fcolor%2F2057-20%2Fgalapagos-turquoise&combination=2124-60,2134-20&room=1706. But that seems a bit too dark. And the post in 548 is pretty bright.
Also thinking that as you open that door, you’ll be seeing into the living room with the fireplace on your left and maybe somewhat into the kitchen? So the door color has to work with those too, as opposed to a doorway into separated foyer.
A bit less bright - Blueberry: https://www.benjaminmoore.com/en-us/color-overview/find-your-color/color-a-room/1706/front-door-9?color=2063-30&source=%2Fen-us%2Fcolor-overview%2Ffind-your-color%2Fcolor-a-room%2F&combination=2124-60,2134-20&room=1706
Or something in the grey greens? https://www.benjaminmoore.com/en-us/color-overview/find-your-color/color-a-room/1706/front-door-9?color=641&source=%2Fen-us%2Fcolor-overview%2Ffind-your-color%2Fcolor%2F641%2Feverglades&combination=2124-60,2134-20&room=1706
I’d stick with some shade of blue. I believe it is always a favorite color among most. People are more divided about liking/hating green and other colors.
Lighting
We are back to lighting… I purchased the Lamps Plus interesting hanging light that was linked earlier. Took it into the space and it was just too small and wimpy. Issue in the dining room was that it was kind of flat and blended in with the walls. In the entryway area it was just too small, didn’t make a statement. So, I decided to hang it in the master bedroom because it popped nice against the grey blue wall color. But, for some reason I walked around the whole house the other day and cannot find the darn thing
Here is what I have ordered for the entryway. I wanted to play around with different metal colors and use the brushed gold in the entry way. Plus, this light was a good 36" wide to help make a big statement in the entry

After this arrives I will hold it up in the dining area to see if I want another Sputnik dining room
Nice price on that light!
I was prepared to prefer the blue but I actually prefer the coral.
Maybe it’s just the photo but the dark gray of the wall around the front door looks like a warm, yellowish gray and I think that works better with the coral.
But maybe the blue is just too bright. IDK, I feel like the blue “vibrates” too much against the gray because it is a warm gray.
I think I’m going to find another blue. The bright turquoise isn’t working.
Ok…I looked again. The coral is a nice color…and could work. I personally prefer the blue. But the coral would work.
I just think some shade of blue is safer than coral. Glad @coralbrook has such great taste and color sense. I am lousy at these things.
Well…with the screenname “coralbrook”…maybe the coral is a sign.
The blue is a pretty color but it seems too jarring with the grey, for lack of a better word. I like the coral, but I would probably like another blue, too (or a soft leafy apple green, which I realize is a controversial opinion on this thread!)
I agree that moving more towards green and lighter looks better than the bright deep blues and turquoise: https://www.benjaminmoore.com/en-us/color-overview/find-your-color/color-a-room/1706/front-door-9?color=CSP-635&source=%2Fen-us%2Fcolor-overview%2Ffind-your-color%2Fcolor-a-room%2F&combination=2124-60,2134-20&room=1706
On my walk today I passed a dark gray house with a chartreuse green door. Looked great and I am a blue person. I like putting a color from one of your beautiful pacific coast sunsets on the door.
I like that Spa Day aqua color.
