Yes, opening with receptacle ready for wine fridge.
Perfect!!! If I were the buyer I would be happy to see an empty opening!
Reason I left it open is because I was overwhelmed with too many variations of types and sizes. Too personal of a choice
Not just sizes but the correct type of cooling! Some will want a dual zone one for both whites and reds, some will want just an extra fridge.
cb, I also have to congratulate you on the speed with which you got this done. What’s it been – five months??
I am guessing your agent is getting a ton of inquiries now that you’re online. And I bet the parade of couples standing outside the door will pick up pace! You did such a stellar job with every aspect of this project.
Four months to completion (if you don’t count a couple of things that still need to get done).
Had an emergency today trying to get the AC going in the house. It kept shutting off. Finally had to give up and call some emergency repair company which was nice enough to come out ASAP, for a $250 charge off course. The condenser water line had gotten clogged with crap, probably from the construction. This is the first time we have had the furnace workings in a closet in the house, so we learned a big lesson. Usually they are in the attic or under the house
the agent of one of the couples who came through this morning called my agent. They are seriously interested in the house, but were not planning to spend the asking price. So, they are speaking to their lender on Monday.
No more people at the door today. Dang it
@coralbrook my crystal ball predicts multiple offers by the end of next week!
When I first looked at all of the staging furniture piled up…I wondered what the end was going to look like.
It is fabulous. While I’m not a MCM fan myself, I see this staging as a nice clean palate that anyone can look past…and envision their own style there.
The colors and openness of the staging are terrific.
I predict a quick sale…very quick.
The staging is fantastic. It looks clean, sleek and inviting. The leggy MCM pieces also obstruct the view less than solid-bottomed pieces would, so the space seems larger and the eye is drawn right to that gorgeous view.
Once again, you’ve knocked it out of the park. Kudos to your photographer, too, for capturing the light and the sunset. Honestly, I just want to leave behind my stodgy house and move in right now.
cb, there were no more people at the door today because they were scrambling with agents and lenders, trying to beat other buyers and grab this jewel.
Absolutely stunning!
Wonderful!!
Echoing all the above…just terrific!
You did an amazing job on that house, especially in such a short amount of time. It looks wonderful. I agree with the predictions of a quick sale.
For the first time, looking at the listing photos, I noticed the design detail in the black front gate. Love it. It’s original to the house, correct?
I think you may get a bidding war! The house is absolutely lovely and the staging is just perfect. Not too fussy, with some nice colorful accents and really showing off the view and great workmanship!
I just realized that maybe the reason we didn’t have any people or agents yesterday is because my agent noted ‘no showings until Open House’. Just to give us a breather to keep getting things cleaned up. Right now the garage is covered in plastic because my painter had to stay until 8pm last night putting another coat on the wood rafters in the garage. We had to run back to get more gallons of paint twice yesterday. It took 12 gallons of paint for the garage. The wood rafters in the large garage just swallowed up paint
There won’t be a lockbox for agents to use for access until this afternoon.
Off to scrub and clean. This isn’t going to be fun two days in a row. I have to clean the floors thoroughly between every open house. You don’t realize how dirty floors get each time 40 to 50 people tramp through the house.
