I know there are a couple of people on here that take them.

I’m doing AP Micrecon and AP Lang. I’m behind pace in both of them. lol

What classes are you taking on FLVS?

I know there are a couple of people on here that take them.

I’m doing AP Micrecon and AP Lang. I’m behind pace in both of them. lol

What classes are you taking on FLVS?

Hey, Hows AP lang?

I’m taking AP Art History on FLVS. Need to take my midterm tomorrow. I’m rly nervous :(. Especially since I’m not studying tonight. HOMECOMING!!! :D

Ohhh… the beauty of FLVS AP courses.

At the moment, I am only taking one, that one being AP Microeconomics.

The entire course (the 18 weeks) is due tomorrow.

I am 50% done with the course.

If I get through this, I am officially the wonderwoman of geeks.

Is Art History tough? I’m going to take it next year. :)

Alot of work, alot of writing.

I think I’m like 3 weeks behind in that class. :D

wow!! well, good luck. haha

That’s my least favorite class. Do you have Mr. Crain as your teacher?

I know the feeling of being behind pace in those courses. :D

haha, Same Armando. FLVS ROCKS ( When you have an A )

When they drop your grade for being behind pace, that’s only temporary right?

Only if your back on pace…

yah ive definitly been behind in FLVS before
im currently taking Latin and AP Macroecon
i took Algebra II Hon and AP Gov last year

A LOT OF WORK!

You have to be really motivated/driven to NOT get behind. Every FLVS class I’ve taken I’ve been behind in at some point. lol

Minnesota just came out with a similar one. It’s free so I think I’ll take APES online instead of independently. takes a little less motivation.

I have a question about FLVS, after one finishes the first segment of the course with a final grade, can you immediatly see it on you online transcript ( Virtual counselor) Or do you have to finish the whole course to see it on your online transcript. Help

I think it takes awhile for them to process it, but you should be able to see the final grade for the first sem. on your online transcript right after the first segment. I don’t think you don’t need to finish all of the course.

I don’t see it on my online transcript but I have a copy sheet that proves my completion of the first segment in FLVS.

Hmmm, maybe it does only show up once you’re finished with the entire course. I’ve never really payed careful attention to that.

I’ve learned that it depends on your school/school board (if you are even affiliated with one). I completed the first semester of World History last year, but it has yet to show up on Virtual Counselor. I was once told that the guidance counselor at your school receives the confirmation of completion and forwards the information to be added on the transcript. I finished Latin quite some time ago too and it’s still not there. But I do know of cases where seniors needed courses to graduate and their info was updated the day/next day that they completed the course. Though another factor to consider was that I completed 1 course with Broward Virtual School and the grade was automatically added as soon as I finished too.

Glad to know that I’m not the only one that has been behind pace on several occasions. It sucks to see that ‘C/D/F’ on your Dashboard, knowing that you have an ‘A’ in the class.

BTW, for those of you taking AP Micro, how is the courseload?

Micro doesn’t require alot of work. But I hate doing work for that class because practically every assignment requires you to draw a graph and scan it or fax it (I can only scan).

It just gets annoying after awhile. haha

Apotheosis- It’s semi hard because the essay prompts are kinda hard to interpret imo. Also, I think the “tests” (worth less than half of an essay) are kinda hard too. However, the virtual museums are SOOOOOOO EASY!!! and they’re worth a lot of points :).
