Franklin & Marshall Class of 2028 Official Thread

How does school notify-by email?

What ended your emails.
“Thank you for your interest in f&m”
Or
“We sincerely appreciate your interest in”

I saw on Reddit that people got one of the two.

Sincerely

I’m not sure it means anything, but to add data to the thread, we did all the things huango mentioned (visit, interview, etc.), and then also received emails to our child and to us (parents), and then also a text message to us to see about converting to EDII. We were really torn since it’s a good school, among a number of good schools our student is applying to. We received the 2/27 release date email. Whatever it means, it will be nice to get an answer a little earlier (and sorry to those waiting until 3/12… this process is always stressful - I’m just glad to have some practice handling the anxiety from when our older child was applying to colleges two years ago).

I don’t think it has any significance at all. I was just surprised to find out that the emails were a bit different

I think its really strange they aren’t the same. Especially because the language is pretty much identical to previous years, it feels like there is something it means but no idea what.

They’re universally in the portal. Have your student check there.

Thanks, had to log out and back in. I am SHOCKED, he got in!!! And he got $15k of merit- we are hoping for a tuition exchange scholarship but shocked.
